As an MLS fan - no. Kane on recall would be significantly better. Dawkins was good for San Jose but he'll never be enough for a top half Prem team.

The biggest question is this: Does Daniel Levy think it is important to purchase a striker? If he doesn't, then tomorrow will be uneventful. Has there been any contact with Del Nido about Negredo? He is the only one that can really help us, in my opinion.

DL is clearing the decks as he says we have a lack of money. The boys to QPR are going cheaper than cheap and are better than what they have. H can trust them apparently!
Now there is 2 ways to look at the clearing the decks scenario:
1. We genuinely are skint and have to balance the books as we have no money as DL keeps saying?
2.He is clearing the decks for an impending arrival or arrivals?
You go with whatever you want for tomorrow depending on what floats your boat, or if you are a glass half full or half empty....
I'm keeping schtum as i honestly dont know at this point in time!!

Make the striker Negredo or someone of similar quality, add in one upgrade of a CM to replace those outgoing, and it is a bloody great window. Icing on the cake, a winger/wide forward maybe in on loan with Falque and Townsend out on loan, and I fancy us to really kick on.
The BAE/Perreira thing is the one I see being the shock move of the day now, for some reason I just think it is not as far fetched as some may think. I like and rate BAE, but if there is an issue between him and AVB, maybe makes sense. AVB had Perreira at Porto, and tried to buy him at Chelsea, so maybe if we can't give him Moutinho, he can at least have another former favourite.
That's it now, transfer window fever has got me. I'm getting f.all work done tomorrow, gonna have to play some serious catchup Friday. Best take my phone charger to work tomorrow for when I cant do any stealth f5ing at my desk.
