Lack of ITK since yesterday afternoon. Pathetic effort.

But on the last bit of ITK...I hope that any loan for Carroll is to a Premiership team as if not there's no point. It might be that AVB thinks he's ready to be part of our first team squad, but if not he has to go to a team at a decent level.
If he has to go on loan, I'd prefer a team like Swansea. They play decent football and he'd learn loads under someone like laudrup.

That said, he's never really looked out of his depth in the first team so I'd prefer he gets thrown in at the deep end.

Welcome to the dark side. Give yourself up to it, it's going to take over your life now.

You do know that now you've popped your posting cherry it's only a matter of time before you become a pale skinned, bolt eyed gibbering wreck who constantly touches himself 'down there' and exposes himself in supermarkets, leaping about the tinned goods aisle bashing one out furiously when seeing positive ITK on the iPhone?

Or is that just me?

Gawd, what will the poor little mite find himself doing when entering the match day threads?

A&C you might want to add this to the ITK but I've been reliably informed that Levy vaulted over the barrier to avoid having to top up his Oyster, every little helps
You are misinformed.
He regularly takes the tube.
And, rather than vaulting the barrier, he simply walked calmly under it, just as he does every other day.

He's not very tall.
And bald.
And likes saving money.

Perfect example of taking a risk in the transfer market...

There's plenty out their like Sandro such Betenke, Michu, Ba, Kone, etc. It's employing the talent to spot these types of players. When was the last time Spurs unearthed anyone close to the level of Sandro?.............Colin Lee?

Well Sandro himself, Bale?, Berbatov?, Modric?, Lennon? Kaboul? BAE?

All players who we spotted and took a gamble on.

Yeah well, I wanted a bike for Xmas!

U the same Journalist that posts in the RO? For a brief second I thought I been used as a quote in some ITK and that I'd have A&C jumping out of my wardrobe at 3am screaming "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!"

Harry can jog on IMO, although he still has a small place in my heart for taking Jenas with him!

Harry could be a good destination for some of the younger lads: he knows the club and plays in the right style and could probably be relied upon to give them regular games. Maybe not the ones at the "top end" like Carroll but some of the development squad could be quite useful on loan in the championship with a manager they probably already know from last year.

I agree that Carroll should be in the Prem - he keeps looking like he could be a new Modric in the making but clearly needs the time to build up the confidence. Ideally, we should look either to the Prem or to Italy/Spain for his next move (to give him the time on the ball to develop the confidence).

Think that's a little unfair. Over the years we have signed a few relatively unknown players who have done more than a decent job. Kaboul, BAE to name two. Also Modric was well known throughout Europe but was still a gamble having not played in a big league and some (Wenger) calling into question his height.

If Carroll does become available for loan, ideally I'd like to see him go and play at Villa. Lambert has shown this season than he's prepared to give young inexperienced players a chance, and for this reason I think Tom Carroll will fit in well there. They are dying for some creativity in the middle of the pitch, and tbh Villa worked wonders for Walker in terms of both his progression as a footballer as well as PL experience. We got back a far better player in comparison to when we sent them, who went on to win YPoTY.
