I'm sick of people moaning on 4-4-2 and lineup, but PLEASE:

1) SOMETHING HAD TO BE CHANGED
2) TIM KNOWS MORE THAN YOU ABOUT FOOTBAL. A LOT MORE.

He tried with 4-4-2, this is his 1st match EVER. Please, GIVE HIM A CHANCE AT LEAST

With Capoue as a makeshift CB, no holding midfield player and an AM as a CM this could go horribly wrong.

definitely glad to see him trying something new, and giving adebayor a chance.

rather have holtby in that CM slot over siggy tho, he has much better pace..and seems to tackle more effectively too.

4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 looked good on paper under AVB, but ended up being shit

4-4-2 looks awful on paper, lets see if it ends up being good.

FUCK 4-4-2. I don't begrudge Defoe starting against his old club even though he was fucking awful last time against them. Hope this weekend is the real start of what is to come, and tonight is just a kick about.
