What i took more of an issue with in that or another interview (my reading of it anyway) was sherwood tryin to take credit for eriksen's recent form, encouraging eriksen to roam, etc.
And also for unearthin eriksen and making levy aware of him years ago, as if no one else knew about him
Exactly! Heck- they had a testimonial for Eriksen at Ajax this season! He has been a very popular footballer for some time now. Not sure what Sherwood is on about here (this should also come as no surprise!).

So Timmy, do you also want to admit to and take the credit for being one of the scouts who advised Harry against Luis Suarez?

So Spurs never sold their star players for profit before Sherwood came along?
Spurs are - as was said in the newspapers recently - a club trying to become a Champions League team on a Europa League budget. Hopefully this will only change when the new stadium is pulling in more revenue.
But then again some of you will blame Sherwood even if their are any stadium hold-ups.

Well ive never seen a manager 'advertising' a player before interest has already come in or the player has asked to leave etc.. he seems to be jumping the gun a little dont you think? He's sounding like we have a class player and we dont deserve to have players of that quality so he'll be off. it just sounds like a stupid thing to say from out of nowhere.

i agree, we do need the new stadium to push further on but even more we need a good manager to bring stability and good procedures from him/baldini and Levy to work the system properly.

I blame TS for the things i see on the pitch, i hold Levy responsable for the rest weather it be good or bad. Im a Spurs fan, i want us to get it right from top to bottom, it needs time but the man in charge HAS to know what he's doing, have a plan and execute it.

Liverpool could have sacked BR a few times over last season with some of their results, they didnt, the players brought in to Liverpool were BR's choice not a 3rd parties and they backed him. if they do that for the forseable future they will get better and stronger. Levy is on another planet when it comes to running a club properly, he has to many fingers in to many pies and fucks around in things he should leave to others.

I think there are thousands of fm players who have better scouting knowledge than the people running and working in our club.

Truth be told, it doesn't matter what TS says. If the likes of RM or Man City want the player, they will go after him regardless. That said, TS should learn to be more diplomatic if he wants to be successful in managing a high profile club.
