We've already bought one player for £25.8m + £4.3m in add-ons. While I agree that Shaw won't happen, that amount of money should be doable on other targets.

Yeah but that was the Bale money, not a net spend, the Bale money has been spent and none of the current squad are going to go for serious money so that kind of summer i cant see happening till stadium built, i would be surprised if our net spend is more than about 15m this summer if that

This. He surely can't be compared to Benteke. Lukaku is a very different player than Benteke, but much stronger physically than Batshuayi. You're right in comparing him to a Sturridge type of striker.

If and buts but any one who takes off the spurs blinkers will see spurs were never in with shout for 4th -- too predictable and too shit against big teams --- if we played all the top 5 teams again and united we would lose them all again ... That's way it is and will alwAys will be with levy in charge .. We go well till Xmas time and then fuckin give up the fight cos no balls passion or heart for it when real players come to the table and put spurs in their place

How can you give Levy the blame for that? We did pretty good against the big teams when Harry was in charge, and also in AVB's first season.

How the fuck can Eriksen be called a dud? And Lamela has barely played and by all accounts has been injured the whole time so we can't really judge him either.
