If he wasn't playing for United he'd be completely invisible on the radar. His CV (by virtue of being at United) is not at all reflective of his ability - I hope we steer well clear

I'm high on him, and I'm not injecting anything (may be smoking it though)

I just see a top class player beneath the surface. What doesn't he have? If nothing else he can work hard and bring the defense stretching ability we need. I think with some confidence his finishing will improve, and the other facets of his overall package make him an intriguing player. This is a definite 'yes' from me.

If he's cheap sure.

This would be the key but I can't see him being cheap. Would be keen at the right price, I actually think he is a pretty decent player

Would sooner we took a punt on deeney @ Watford...
Would sooner play Kane...
Would sooner play soldado...
Three reasons I'd not like him at our club.
I'm behind diplomatic...

I think he is a good player, but you would have to pay the english tax on him so probably not worth it.

He's got Sunderland written all over him. Football's wasteland for all average rejected United players. Tom Cleverly will also be joining him.

I'll stop here because listing United's average players takes too long and it's easier to simply exclude the keeper and about 4 others.

He actually surprised me a couple of years back when he was on loan at Sunderland (I think it was) and did well. He might turn out to be a top player, he might not, but it sounds like he wants to go somewhere where he has some form of guarantee he'll be "the" centre forward.

For the money he will inevitably cost, I can think of other options I'd rather have up front, ie centre forwards with proven goalscoring records.

for jebus sake NO.

he is a diving, snide shit.. the way he smiles when getting away with cheating would make a panda punch him in the crotch

please, lets stick to Lamela and Eriksen feeding a real honest striker up front

With the right coaching, this boy could be quality, considering Ade is likely to be sold in the summer, I wouldn't mind us splashing approx £8-12 million on him.

Makes clever runs, has a lot of pace and strength and a good finish in there somewhere, extremely athletic and would always help the HG quota.

Guys like Eriksen and Sigurdsson would love making runs off him or playing him in.

Man U will want 20-25 million pounds with prices shooting up as they have done.

I really like Welbeck to me he is an athletic and skillful player, he can play as a central striker or winger/striker id be willing to pay up to 15m for him and would have Welbeck ahead of Rodriguez.
