i agree with nearly all of the responses on this awful awful game. I really try for these type of games to not let it get to me but you just cant help but feel so much anger and disappointment.

Just wanted to say even though the defensive pair of Kaboul and Chiriches were so so so poor and also every other player mind you. For me the person that let me down the most is adebayor.

He is meant to be our focal point of attack but through out the whole game he literally did nothing. I've had enough of people saying "on his day his unplayable" sorry thats not good enough. A player that plays for there club/gets paid very well must put nothing but 100% effort (goes for every player in this club) but adebayor has this attitude towards his game that i dont appreciate one bit.

Pochettino MUST find the courage to drop him because it is honestly costing us games.

We kept it 0-0 for 70+ mins at home and not once did we look a threat up top with ade being the "main" guy to get us the goals. The chance he had with that header was unbelievable. Couldn't believe my eyes how he did not connect with the ball after having so much time to adjust his positioning to score.

My patience has all but run out for adebayor. And trust me this is not a knee jerk reaction.

Arsenal are a bigger team then us, they are a top 4 team and spend money to keep themselves there, we are a top 6/7 team and spend enough to keep us there, expecting anything more then a draw from that fixture is madness regardless of how poorly we have preformed thus far.

Seriously though, that game was.. worrying.

Poch will sort it in time though. Give him the time to sort shit out - he will.

Don't forget we had Fazio and Vertonghen on the bench. Surely they are better?
I fecking hope so! Verts not fully fit today and a home debut against unknown opponents maybe not an option for Fazio.
i just don't get Chiriches at all. Casual doesn't come close.

I like Pooch, shame he has too much crap to work with.
Quite pleased to read Pochs statement after that performance.
It shows he is aware what the problem is and will address it.
Id be surprised if we don't see a few changes for Arse game.
Some of them better buck their ideas up or get dropped.
We need pace imo.

If there's indeed a takeover by CH, I hope that its done and dusted before the Jan transfer.
We need a top class striker, LW, and a couple of top CBs (Mustacchio / Schar?). Sell Adebayor
(he's an expensive liability) and one (or both) of Kaboul/Vlad.

With Man Utd and Liverpool dropping points, we have a chance of getting a top four slot but we
need to have a player upgrade. If we don't get top four, we might lose Verts and LLoris in the summer,
which would only put a spanner in our future CL aspirations.

Aww...come on people, still taking about CL! Take off your rose tinted glasses. We can't score and set pieces kill us! I really was not surprised about today's result. This season is for rebuilding. 10th place, I say.

Overpaid pampered legends to a man i fucking hate the fact that for an average wage of 50k a week none of these c@#ts feel it's necessary to turn up and put a shift in. Modern day football is slowly killing my love of the game.

Hmmmm i am hoping so too, BUT he's made Kaboul captain and ADE vice captain and those big choices i find just a tad concerning tbh

Good points made but in order to get these players will require investment maybe quite heavily and currently we dont have the capability to achieve this in a fairly quick time frame.
It Does make me think now whether we really could do with New owners to drive this on now to a higher level than we currently stand.
Despite what many may think i do believe enic made us better than what We were as now We are a regular top six side instead of sitting 12-14th like in the sugar years.
But although i can appreciate what they have done since the year We made champions League i felt We have never really kicked on just willing to sit where We are and that has brought us to this the club and team look stale and flat and now require a shot in the arm please Caine hoy make this bid serious and take us on.
It won't happen for at least two windows and knowing how we operate it will be heavily reliant on our ability to shift the likes of Soldado, Ade and Paulhino

We've done a lot of damage to ourselves with our player trading since the Bale sale window - we lost sight of building a team and seemed to only focus on the individual with no thought to how they will complement one another or address our needs as a squad of players

How have we spent so much money and still have no top level striker? or pace going forward? or a dominant CM? its crazy how we've destroyed such a great team in such a short period of time and while I can see how we still have that strong base and 3 key signings could get us right back up there I do agree with you that the practicality of getting the right 3 players in is like moving a mountain while Levy is in charge as we all know we'd have our 3 targets and end up with 3 cheaper and crapper alternatives who really don't solve the issue

Ade should be dropped based on performance. I don't know how you judge players, but with me it's not out of personal dislike or spite. Ade on the day is a great player, but he's not cutting it right now - surely even you can see that?

He was exceptional for an hour last week and was then tired and useless, but yeah I get it. If we had Costa up top at the moment he would be useless as well. The midfield is poor. . Eriksen has been shit all season, why aren't you screaming his name??? Bring in Soldado, bring in whoever in midfield....it doesn't matter. The players aren't better and won't do more. We ONLY look threatening with an UP FOR IT Adebayor. Or am I missing something with the corners that can't get past the first man???

So we've had a fairly 'easy' opening 5 games apart from Liverpool. West Ham, QPR, West Brom and Sunderland. Yet we sit below Swansea, Leicester, West Ham, Southampton and Villa. Thank fuck we didn't have a difficult run of opening fixtures!

Poch I hope will come good but I am amazed that he made Kaboul captain when for most of us the verdict is out on his ability still to play at the highest level. Then Ade as a vice-captain? Seems like very dodgy leadership to me

I must admit I was left totally dumbfounded when I read Kaboul was Captain. Completely agree.

When the malignant dwarf appointed Poch to the seat of death a LOT of posters were suggesting we'd get the odd day like this, that Rome wasn't built in a day and how we'd have the occasional setback or two.

And so it comes to pass that it happens.

So i'm a bit surprised at the rush to stick our collective heads in the oven.
