Tbh honest I'm just looking forward to a clear out in January. Think we can afford to lose a fair few players so hopefully the boss and chairman see things the same.

I would love us to enter the 2nd half of the season with a small, albeit inexperienced squad of players who just want to play football and try and adapt.

I'd love to see the reaction here when that small, inexperienced squad is stretched too thin and begins to get dumped in several cup competitions, and then performances begin to suffer in the league because Pochettino plays the same key players over and over again because there is no depth in the squad and he's desperate not to get fired. I'm sure Lloris, Eriksen, and Vertonghen would all be impressed with our ambition if we just unilaterally weakened the squad with no real incomings, like we did when we sold off Sandro, Sigurdsson, and Holtby and only brought in Stambouli.

Based on our recent play, this is how the game will go:

We come out of the gates with a great tempo, but squander an early chance. Sigurdsson slips Bony in at the 15th minute and he scores. We pressure the rest of the half, but with no goal. Pochettino makes a few changes at the 65th minute onward, and Swansea have a clear cut chance to end the game and miss it. We exert maximum pressure in the last 20 minutes and Eriksen comes very close to score from range.

...then a Swansea player gets send off and we equalize and push for a win...

Can't see any sort of a "clear out" until the Summer, and i cannot remember the last time Levy splashed the cash in January.

Doesn't need to splash the cash just get rid of some folk.

I like the back four!
I also like Bentaleb and Mason pairing.
Questioning Lamela being picked?
Like Eriksen.
Like the Soldado and Kane combo.
