I think this bloke is absolute rubbish and everywhere he's played, he's proved it. I can't believe so many top managers have fallen for his mystique, and yet none of them has managed to get the best out of him, and I believe there's a very good reason for that. He doesn't have a 'best'.

Having said all that, when Rogers put him on last night, I got a sinking feeling. I just bloody well knew that having gone the entire season without a Premier League goal, he'd pop one in against us, and at 2-2 that was not a nice feeling.

Some of my friends think I have an irrational hatred of this bloke, but that's not the case. There's nothing irrational about it.

I will never forget the deliberate head stamp he gave Scotty Parker up at the Etihad a few seasons ago. I can't forgive him and I won't forget. It was a deliberate attempt to seriously injure a fellow profesional, which is inexcusable.

A few years ago, when Maureen was in charge at Inter, he described Balotelli as being 'unmanageable'. I have never agreed with anything Maureen has said, but I can understand that one. Says it all.

I on the other hand like Balo and think he is a good player. I don't think he suits liverpool but he isn't bad at all.

The stamp was terrible. Real Charlie Adam moment.

Massively overrated as a player, regardless of his poor attitude.

And I'm fed up reading comments in the media today 'is this a turning point?' 'will he go on from here and prove people wrong?'
it was a tap in from 5 yards and he probably wouldn't have been on the bench, let alone the pitch, if Sterling was fit.

You can pretty much guarantee anyone that's not scored in the career ever, or in the last 500 years will score against us.

Yeah I don't understand this. He didn't do anything except score a goal and now he's a god.

I know I harp on about Soldado *gasp* but I genuinely believe he at least brings something else to the game.

He certainly does, like effort for starters.
The way Balotelli strolled around against Chelsea in the COC semi was disgraceful. But at least that means he'll never be on Poch's radar!!
A huge example of a cocky, overpaid footballer who thinks they're so much better than they are.

He's a strange guy but I think he's alright, I just think he's wasted his talent and made some poor transfer choices. He should play for a club like West Ham where he'd be worshiped as a cult figure and forget the big clubs.

That something else that he brings to the game is NOT goals and that's the whole reason why we paid a bucket load of money for him.

I've never got the hype. Seems a decent player who has been built up by the social media bullshit and the "craaaaazy" personality on the pitch. It's all just nauseating tedious boring shit.

In the last two seasons, in three of four matches against Liverpool, 'pool players have scored their debut goals for the club against us. Grating stuff.

I've come to terms with last night by thinking about that time Totti full on kicked him up the arse, Balotelli was doubled up on the floor and even his own team mates were kind of congratulating Totti for his hari-kiri style antics.

If he paid for your petrol and library fines you'd love him.

Yes I know that was a fabrication/myth.

We seem to be forgetting that Markovic's goal was his first at Anfield also!

I don't hate him but IMO he is an example of everything that is wrong with football at the minute. To make mistakes at one club or maybe two is defendable but Balo seems to cause problems where ever he is, just seems like a bit of a dick.
