In the context of the tie it was essential that we didn't let them score an away goal. We did just that and it was very poorly conceded. It certainly gave them a big advantage in their home tie. All water under the bridge now though.

Seems to have a genuine love for the club and he's a bloody good player as well.

He was brilliant today. A few bursting runs I hadn't seen before. What impressed me most though was the way he held off and used his body to turn players in tight areas of the pitch - a bit dembelesque actually!

Real nice core of Dier, Bentaleb and Kane through the middle now and all so young! Looking forward to seeing them develop!

Aside from his footballing abilities, I'm particularly impressed with his attitude, body strength and general 'needle' that he brings.

Just need to find him a partner.

Disagree. Whilst I wouldn't say no to someone like schneiderlin, Mason is great foil for him, always gives him a ball, plays it forward quickly, drops when he goes forward. Those two are prem quality. It's the three behind Kane we struggle with, Mason and Bentaleb get the ball quickly but few of them (Eriksen aside, and Chadli when he is at it) take advantage of the space around them.

I loved it when ramires attempted to outmuscle him and bentaleb was having absolutely none of it. Owned that midfield and he's only 20.
