That Telegraph article by Sam Wallace is laughable. It states that Mitchell joined us in 2012 and was key to us signing Dier. Mitchell joined us in 2014 and Dier was signed before he arrived.

If you were on another website they probably would've banned your account and your ability to be an annoying troll long ago

If you got home from work and found Levy in bed with your wife you would probably ask him if he wants a biscuit instead of whacking him with a baseball bat, same goes with many of the Levy fanboys on here, I am done trying to convince them, will just say what i think and if don't like it tough titties

I seriously worry about my personality at times. I clearly should be panicking like crazy at this news but worryingly find myself not giving a fuck.

Should I seek help?

Other way round. If you're seriously panicking over this kind of thing you don't have any real responsibilities in this world!!! lol

Maybe I'm naive..but here goes. You know, honestly...when you look at our squad, there's not really many weaknesses at all. Maybe an odd player here or there over the next 2-3 years. If we were in disarray I'd be a little worried.

The only thing I find strange in this entire thing is the timing of these departures...it ain't good, looking in from outside.

The real problem is, we all pretend to know what is going on behind the scene. None of us really know what is happening, nor what Mackenzie and Mitchell have done.

Maybe we could go for Sevilla DOF Monchi who apparently wanted out of Sevilla during this summer
Someone on another site who's had connections before has said we are getting him at end of this season.

Something to keep an eye on

Incredible to imagine an inaccurate newspaper article.

Some guy at West Ham got fired recently with a 14k pay off, he found Lampard, Cole, Rio, Payet etc
Tony Carr was head of youth development, nothing to do with scouting. Graham Carr is a scout and is at Newcastle.

We've had ITK in the youth thread to the effect that the club is miles behind other clubs in England with regard to the terms of the contracts now on offer to academy players, I wonder whether the same is true with recruitment staff. It sounds like Levy has been very slow to adapt to the new reality when it comes to the youth, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we were being absolutely blown out of the water by clubs which are actually willing to use the new TV revenue as opposed to socking it away for a stadium.

Alli and Dier were both Pleat recommendations apparently.

Timing is inconvenient but hopefully we have his list for this summer and Jan already and can get someone in in the mean time to cover next summer

No point keeping him

He will just recommend us duds to spite us while saving the juicy ones for his new club
If any employee wants out that much, it's best for everyone's sake that they're allowed to go. All they'll be doing is letting their disenchantment/lack of enthusiasm show, and it can soon spread around the club. If you try to hold them to a contract, they'll just go running to the media, victim card in hand and start painting you as a spiteful and vindictive employer.
