They would have scored first anyway regardless of the offside or own goal. Lets not kid ourselves were being battered here.
That's not what's coming across on radio or the BBC. We started better than them, but they finished better than us.

Should be 0-0 of course, but knew we'd hs to beat the ref also today

I'd maybe put on Janssen for Eriksen but there's not much options.

Probably a write off and hope lamela and Toby return after international break, Kane fully fit and rested.

Most likely out of champions league and certainly no longer talked up for title so pressure will be off, maybe we'll look better when we come back against spam

Go 4 at the back and use Wanyama as cover for Arsenal counter attacks. Bring Janssen on to support Kane and try a few long balls in the hope/confidence that he can hold the ball up and bring others into play.

First 20-25 minutes were composed and we were the better team. Since then they've got to grips with our formation, blocked our passing options as we build from the back and we have struggled to put together decent spells of possession.

More concerning is that they've started to exploit the space in the channels and between our defence and central midfielders. Dembele had a good 20 mins, it's since gone pear shaped. Wanyama hasn't had the best game so far in my opinion. We have to plug the considerable gaps that are opening.

The goal was clearly offside, I don't blame Wimmer he had to play it. Not sure how it couldn't class as interference, maybe it was just a bad call. Annoying though.

Much better than Wednesday. We can get something out of this, not over by a long shot

The commentators aren't saying that , they're saying that he has been excellent.

Well he hasn't. Given the ball away in stupid positions, one almost being a through ball for Arsenal and he's killing our attacking flow.

No point making wimmer a scapegoat. her is a good player, but obviously rusty.

Whats costing us is that our attacking play is so blunt and predictable. we havent looked like scoring from open play inn quite some time :(

Tempted to throw Winks and N'kodou in there now just to mix it up.

Unsurprising when you don't play him all season and then start him in the NLD and expect him to perform.

Poor.

That's our problem, right there! Dembele had the ball in the middle and Rose was advancing into a great big bloody gap, Dembele on his stronger foot had to play him in..................nope cut back inside, slow the play down, allow them to recover.

I thought we had done quite well for 30 minutes or so but as we've tried to attack we've ended up leaving gaps and allowing them to get onto their groove. I thought the 3-5-2 was at least making it difficult for them, but now we may need to change it.

I'd have been happy to have contained them for an hour or so, and then become a bit more adventurous in the dying embers.
Dembele as a passer is a great dribbler

His biggest strength though is also his biggest weakness, as he dwells on the ball, causing problems for himself and the team often in dangerous areas.

Kane looks unsurprisingly off the pace, and there's often big gaps between him/Son and the midfield. But then if we push further forward that's when they can hurt our lumbering back five (with Wanyama and Dembele) by breaking on us quickly.

Think Poch will try and keep it tight then change with 15 to go. Not great options from the bench though.

Koscielny who challenged Wimmer was on side though. Have we forgotten the dodgy penalty Clattenburg gave us at Etihad last season? He's not all doom and gloom, he'll get us back in the game. ;)

Well lucky goal for them but in my eyes absolutely deserved. We started well because Arse had to adapt to our system.
We still fail to look dangerous in front of goal why they had 3, 4 decent opportunities to score.

Don't know how we could turn this around and who should do it. Kane does not look fit (surprise), the rest is out of form and confidence...yay.

Also why the fuck was Eriksen not given the foul when he was going through.

Clattenburg is a joke.

I think Son's been very wasteful. We need much, much more from him.

I agree, all he's done is chase shadows. In the right formation he's a threat, the problem is our current setup isn't utilising his skill set.
