There's something about Mahrez that screams 'one hit wonder'.

He was very poor this season and it's not as if he's particularly young.

I'd also be very concerned about his work ethic (although I don't know what his stats are in that regard) and I'm not really sure he necessarily offers us the pace that we're clearly looking for.

So for the sort of fee they're looking at...it's a no from me.

Agree wholeheartedly. There's just something about him that rubs me up the wrong way.

It didn't help that he was heard saying something about Chelsea the other week and how they're a real club or something. Piss off mate.

As a footballer, absolutely. Questions over most of those Leicester players though, with regards to the player power shenanigans with Ranieri. It's not enough to just be a good footballer with Poch, you have to have that selfless, tough mentality.

Another one of those players who's in need of some Poch love IMO

I agree that he doesn't really offer us much pace up front though and I'd prefer a player with pace, shame we missed out on Zaha.

Wouldnt touch him with a barge pole - one freak season in a career of mediocrity does not make him a great player.

Something off about him and Leicester players are damaged good for me after their Ranieri shananigans.

Very dangerous going forward but also a danger to his own team since he's got a reputation for not tracking back and working for the team.

If we're serious about the likes of Lemar (an all rounder) then we have to bite the bullet and go in with a hefty offer... regardless of whether we class £40m + as absurd as that's the going rate. You either pay it or waste a lesser sum on another second rate player like Sissoko.

I find it weird that I don't want him.

In 15/16 he was absolutely sensational.
