Maybe you simply shouldn't worry about what ratings, good, bad or otherwise, are assigned your posts, and simply post just because we are so wonderful people to interact with.
I genuinely think those with a modicum of intelligence can especially when you state it clearly as you do. It would be sad if you felt you couldn't continue to be both a fan who comments and one who at certain times shares info.
If you prefer just being a fan & posting on here then maybe you're itk stuff could go through the Goat, but given your status as in-house ITK the stoopid one's in here will still misinterpret everything you post during the TW. I get your point. I have heard you. And I agree. But most SC users really just actually desire to take the opportunity to thank you for your participation, and I don't see anything wrong with that. There is always somebody who will read too too much into what the ITKs are posting, but that's their fault/responsibility, not yours. We all should be able to make balanced verdict on what's useful as discussion points, and what's useful as inside information. That's up to each and every poster to make that rational judgement. You ITKs can't bear the full responsibility for whether or not we read too much into a post. What I would say is, keep posting, keep participating, keep tagging along, and assume that most users will be able to make a rational call on the nature of each post.

And yes, i've mentioned it once or twice (and so have quite a few others), not because of some perverse "I told you so" agenda, but because of the ridicule and vitriol it attracted, not to mention in light of recent events, its worth mentioning.
