ITs open to interpretation I don't think it was concrete either way. I hope KWP gets a chance and takes it
I'm not sure it is open to interpretation. He clearly says KWP in a 4 or 3. Sissoko in a 3.

The big responsibility given to Trips is to be no.1, KWP ain't ready for that. But next sentence says he will start/play other games. Then if Trippier is out, he's not the only replacement.

And/or they're looking to bring someone in. Sanchez can play right back too so that fits

Smiling at the thought of most non-Spurs (And some Spurs!) supporting football fans' dumbstruck look at us lining up with Kyle Walker-Peters at right back. Cloning factory.

He's just been named man of the match :)
Played bloody well, but man of the match was a bit of a stretch, no way his performance would get that if he was just another player. Good performance, but sky love a good romantic story.

Good debut. Played well. But im not sure he's ready for the big boys. Completely different animal to Newcastle.

As I've just said to you in the match thread, he'll make a mistake in the future, but Walker was still making them at the back end of last year (West Ham etc) it doesn't mean he's not ready to play those games, it means he'll make mistakes just like our other RB's still do and all our players do. Look at Alli FFS, the guy is 85 minutes of mistakes and 5 minutes of genius. Dembele nearly cost us a goal today with his dithering, KWP actually put in a couple of vital tackles and reads.

I am completely stunned, who would have thought it, some kid from one of the best PL academies managed to come in to one of the better PL teams and put in a solid performance. There was no catastrophe, he didn't play like a spacker. He managed to control the ball and pass it to his team mates. He defended competently. He didn't boot the ball into his own goal inexplicably. His mere presence didn't ruin the rest of the team and lead us to defeat.

Stunned, I tell you.

Obviously he'll make mistakes in the future. He made one today but got away with it as Gayle was offsides.

Good lad. He did his job very well and this will be a day he'll never forget. Good one for the future.

The thing about KWP - that distinguishes him from Onomah - is he acts like he belongs on the pitch. He does not shy away from his responsibilities, he carries himself like he belongs on the senior team. Same attitude I saw when Winks came up, same as Dele, or Kane, or Dier.

I hope Onomah finds that confidence this season at Villa - sometimes thats the difference in a top player and a journeyman.

You may say it was only against Newcastle, but it's worth mentioning that he played against Atsu on his side, who was probably Newcastle's most dangerous player today. Well done KWP!
