Always worth wheeling this out:
106 goals in 188 games for Farnbrough and Dover AthleticDidn't he go on to be hugely prolific in whatever the Conference was called back then?
It was reborn as Enfield Town FC a few years later...currently playing in the QE Athletics ground at the other end of Enfield Playing fields (Donkey Lane)...I go a few times per year, and used to love the old ground back in the day, when me and my mates couldn't afford to get in we'd just climb one of the trees round the back and have the best view in the ground! He went on to play for Enfield FC after injuring his knee, I used to live opposite the Enfield chairman growing up and used to get into the games free so saw a lot of him, especially when Tottenham played pre season friendlies at Enfield's Southbury Road ground... The club doesn't exist anymore because the chairman turned out to be a bit of a crook and miss-appropriated a load of the clubs cash to pay off debts.

I'll forever hold that place close to my heart, as it was the location of my first ever blowy (Well the car park outside)I always enjoyed hanging in 'The Starlight Rooms' after the Tottenham friendlies, got to meet a lot of the players from when Venables was manager... even got to see 'El Tel' do his best Sinatra impression on stage there. Pretty much never went back to the town after I left school.

A gentleman never tells.Did you spit or swallow?
But that didn't stop him signing for West Ham...
Anyone remember Erik Lamela?
I was at that too, right behind the goal. Cracker. To be fair, that's probably exactly why
I see Mabizela getting some mentions, how could anyone forget his rocket of a shot against Leicester away? In his debut too, I think. It won us that match, 2-1 IIRC. Somehow he didn't get many more games, if even one.
I’ll never forget the time we started an FA Cup game at Old Trafford with Rory Allen and Neale Fenn up front.
Halcyon days...
But he's right there!Gudni Bergson, all those years at Bolton. I had no idea he played for us before.
I had the same top and same problem with ‘Gin 1’. Sure it looked stupid, but at least I looked stupid but with great taste in footballers.I always loved a bit of Ruel Fox.
Mainly because when I was a kid I had the purple Hewlett Packard away kit, and I wanted a name and number on the back.
However due to my limited funds, all I could afford was three letters and one number.
Hence to this day I am the proud owner of a purple Spurs shirt with 'FOX 7' on the back.
God he was shit.

I lost that top in a house fire. Not important.
