Don't understand why Allegri keeps leaving Marchisio at the bench for important games, he's such a wonderful player.

Lamela was ripping Serie A a new one before he joined us. A no brainer.

I think that, plus his pressing. Annoyingly seems it’s a defensive tactic but I trust Poch there. As I think we now lack pace. I’m aware clever movement can substitute pace and we are not slouches.

Hilarious, Des Kelly just said this a the time to beat one of the European greats to put a marker down, or something along those lines.
They forgotten already that we beat Madrid and Dortmund already and that we finished top of the group?
Weird.

Juventus XI: Buffon; De Sciglio, Benatia, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Pjanic; Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa, Mandzukic; Higuain

Subs: Szczesny, Rugani, Asamoah, Marchisio, Bentancur, Sturaro, Muratore

Mandzukic and Pjanic their key players. Their bench is weak

De Scilio is the weak link. He's not good enough for Juve and Spurs should look to exploit him. Son would run him ragged.

Khedira and Pjanic have been in great form and I suspect the battle will be won there between them and Dier and Dembele. Mandzukic works as hard as anyone I've ever seen. He'll be pivotal for Juve too. Shut him down and Juve lose a lot.

I wish for an injury free exciting game, with preferably a non-demoralising scoreline. I hope Spurs go through as they could do with it more, but I wish this game could've been avoided. Buona fortuna.

We have nothing to prove. Poch does. He has faltered at this stage in Europa League at this time of the season but I think he's planned for all this. We look on form now and he's using the squad to keep this going. I think he has a plan, a good plan, and I trust him.

Very nervous but equally excited about this match.

I would love 0-0 but I have a feeling it will be 1-1.

Either way suck it up lads it's matches like this we've been building for since Poch has been in charge. We meet these guys toe to toe. They are gonna be just as scared of us as we will be wary of them. Let's do this!

I can see 0-0 at there place and 1-1 at ours, sending them through on away goals.

I think where we could lose this is if we give away silly free kicks in dangerous areas. I am very worried they will score an easy goal from a free kick or pen.
Those kind of things we can and should be aiming cut out of our game against the Italians tonight as they will be looking to make the most of any set piece they get I reckon.

I'm not confident as I know the Italian teams totally know how to exploit the rules and use it all to their advantage in the European games. They havent got to 2 Finals on merit alone. I'm sure every little trick in the book helps at this stage.

And I also hope that they pay so much attention to Kane that Dele brings him A game on and does to them what they are planning to do to us. For some reason I really think this is the type of game that suits Dele and he can make the most of it if he's prepared.
I can see Dele getting us a goal if he has a good game. I also thought it was wise to play Lamela since he's all about tricks too and as long as our defense has a good game we should try to take the game to them rather than play a counter game..

Any of this lot usually starters?

I don't follow Serie A.
I don't follow them closely enough to know who their first choice XI would be, but Juve fans on Reddit have been saying that Cuadrado and Lichsteiner would be big misses. They're essentially playing with a second-choice right side in both attack and defense.

Surely 1-1 is better than 0-0? Away goals? Juve would have to outscore us in their away game (or pens).
