Give it up Gaz, one defeat to City brings the absolute dipsticks out.
You're literally wasting your time even trying to debate with them.

They're out in full force. When you have likes of James fucking Milner tweeting at Harry you know its low hanging fruit.

What exactly IS your point? That Kane should be dropped? For Son I assume? Or Llorente maybe? They haven't scored against those teams either bar one goal for Son so what point is it you're fumbling about trying to make?

Agreed, he has no point just an axe.

Since we last lost to City last year (who are going to win the PL by a mile) Spurs 2 - 0 Utd Liverpool 2 - 2 Spurs Spurs 1 - 0 Woolwich Chelsea 1 - 3 Spurs

It's a team game, but some people just don't get it.

Beggars belief really, as a fan since 1965 and ST holder for thirty three years, they really don't know there born.

No I wasn’t at the game, what has that to do with it?
I saw it live, we were beaten by the better team but we weren’t battered. The score line was fair imo, it didn’t flatter us and 3-1 isn’t a battering.

Fair enough?
Think my last message said dominated which we were utterly. If they’d taken their chances it couldn’t been 5/6-1 as the pundits on MOTD said. Don disguise a very poor performance from us and very good one from them.

Feel some of our players in defence let us down yeaterday. Sanchez was all over the place. Trippier gave them the ball before the penalty and then for their third he just gave up marking Sterling.

City was by far the better team the first 30 min. But we got back into it. A little bit of luck and no mistakes at the back I think we could have gotten a draw and maybe nicked it.

I disagreed with the post that said we were battered.

I have to say I was quite disappointed to read some of the criticism of Davinson Sanchez on here last night. He's had a great season, particularly bearing in mind it's his first year in the PL, is only 21, and plays in a position where experience and maturity is usually essential.

Last night was a failing of the team and coach in general, and blaming him individually is more than a little harsh. We're lucky to have him and all being well he'll go on to become one of if not the best defender in the world. Is there anyone his age as good as him? I see De Bruyne nominated him for YPOTY, and he should know.

Absolutely! I was worried about playing in Wembley, other teams strengthening, and us losing walker and the silliness going on with Rose and now Toby. I really didn’t think we would do better than fifth or sixth! To finish top 4 with the new stadium next year and the best training facility in the country is a lot to feel good about. Been supporting Spurs since 1970, and never have I felt so proud to be a Spurs supporter. Gone ate the days of “mid table Spurs” or you are so “Spursey”.
Yesterday was not good, but to finish above ARSEnal AND Chelski would be brilliant!!

incidentally, Im surprised I havent seen anything here on Walker's return (without wading thru the entire thread). I thought the fans treated him well except for a few boos when we got behind.

Anyone know what the melee was all about in the [Wembley] shelf lower yesterday? Happened just after we went 2 down.

Just to cheer you up if we beat Brighton we are still top of PL since Xmas. And really should win our last 5 which should imo put us above Liverpool considering they still have to go to Chelsea and CL commitments. Right now unfortunately City are the one team we still look a bit scared of Hopefully next season we can put that to bed.

When's the open top bus?

Eriksen, lamela , ali and kane - these 4 together wont work that is for sure
Definitely this against quality opponents that you need to counter on. You have to play that pacey player like Son or moura. Those 4 together just make us to laboured and predictable.
I think if you try not to knee jerk you will see that your statements are without substance. This was the quartet of players that pushed Liecester all the way in the 2015/16 season. To now condemn them considering that two are trying to find their form after injuries, playing against probably the best team in Europe is very unreasonable. When on form, give me that four any day of the week.

We weren't. We were being overrun for the first 25. Then we changed it and were the better team until their 3rd goal. People forgetting how much the game's metronometer had shifted by the time we scored. Both teams stopped playing with any great urgency once City went 3-1 up.

Yes if we lose it'll be your fault and your fault only. I only pray that you will be able to live with yourself afterwards with the immense shame and guilt that will undoubtedly plague you until the end of your days. If you have family, I suggest you hug them tightly right before the match, because afterwards you will be a changed man, for better or worse.

How prophetic. My cousin Ronnie has recommended a good psychiatrist who has worked before with people in my condition.

My missus has been instructed to hide all the sharp objects.

I tend not to get too wound up, I tend to ask them why they try so hard.

Anyway, bottling is losing something from in front so the context or notion in the terms you placed it in have no baring whatsoever.

Fans eh?

The English language is forever evolving and bottling means more than that now.

bottler
NOUN

1 A person or company that bottles drinks.
‘he had been a student, a shrimper and a beer bottler’
More example sentences
2 British informal A person with little mental strength or resilience.
‘he turned out to be one of the biggest legends in boxing’
More example sentences
3 NZ Australian informal An admirable person or thing.
‘he's getting married to a real little bottler’
4 The north London football team Tottenham Hotspurs, due to their way of losing games.

Seriously though, I not too bothered about the expression. Rather than being accurate, I see it as an expression of dissapointment.

So utter bollocks then?

It's just missing a #

Can't be long now.
