Hardly..it’s not a proper tournament just an invitational one. Last year there were under 19 teams in it.Means nothing compared to the proper under 21 euros. We won’t win that with Aidy in chargeDecent final, Mexico technically good but England were just too physical for them at times.
3 Toulan wins in a row is an amazing achievement .
Of course is a great achievement to win it 3 times in a rowHardly..it’s not a proper tournament just an invitational one. Last year there were under 19 teams in it.Means nothing compared to the proper under 21 euros. We won’t win that with Aidy in charge
did you see the celebration after our first goal.....they obviously think it’s really important.?Of course is a great achievement to win it 3 times in a row
Yes also saw the celebration when lifting the trophy too ??did you see the celebration after our first goal.....they obviously think it’s really important.?
Must say that Nketiah looks pretty goodYes also saw the celebration when lifting the trophy too ??
So Reo Griffiths is mentioned on the front page as staying for another year
I don't know anything about the kid; do we have high-hopes for him?
I can see that a little. I think he is more of a deep lying playmaker, whenever I see him he is always picking out passes, but he is a decent little dribbler to with a bit of skill. Definitely think he is a talented little player, one of the many I imagine England will be looking at and calling up to the u15 camps in August. Had a little interaction with @Romulus over it, after the Riga Cup matches
The no.4 was Casanova who I also like he scored a freekick in the first game.
I know I'm going to mention a lot of players but over the last couple of seasons I can imagine England looking at the following with the bolded as being certs I reckon for either the camps or playing for England u15s next season.
Scarlett (ST), Hudson (LB), Bryan-Waugh (CB), Hackett (CB), Haysman (CM), Casanova (CM), Forson (CM), Torraj (LW), Walters (RB). I need to look at Mathurin as he looked a lot trickier in that first game than I'd seen at Riga and you obviously believe he caught the eye in the other matches.
So all very promising
Haysman, Hackett and Bryan-Waugh have been called up to the second England u15 camp of the summer. There will be 3 camps. I think there are usually 2, but for the 00 age group I remember there being 3. If I'm correct that could imply that this is another good generation. As I said there are many from our age group, if City and Chelsea produce their standard amount plus the others then I imagine it will be a good year group.
None are a surprise, as above. I'd expect at least Scarlett and Forson to also get call ups and Hudson, if he is as good as a I remember him from last season. Club players can be spread across different camps.
These will take place in August. I will provide updates when I can
More to it than that.As it's been reported that we generally do not play players in last year of contract, is it concerning that Reo only signed a years extension to scholar contract?

As far as i'm aware that is all we can offer him. At 18 we are required to offer him a professional contract.
17 is the age you can sign a pro contract, hence why skipp and others are on pros. griffiths will have been offered one but he's decided to sign a 3rd year scholarship instead to keep his options open.
