I used to love Trips but something has changed for him, he's no longer the hard-working and grafting right back I once loved, he's gone a little arrogant, blaming others, pointing fingers... what next a hair deal with Brylcream.

Cash in while we still can, assuming we're going to operate with zero net spend for a while, then he is 30mill we could put to better use.

Defensively poor and weak mentally. Agree, sell him whilst he still has world cup glitter on his boots. £40m.

I’m starting to think Paolo is actually Trippier himself. :D

Im fine with having Trippier as a back up as when we had Walker. But being a starting player is just mad, he is not good enough. And to make it worse Aurier have been totaly lost the last games he played. We need to do something about this position.

I get furious everytime he fuck up and we let a goal in and he always holds his arms out like its some one else falt. Its almost always Tripps fault.

His overall play has been very poor, from crosses to set pieces, don't mind his main job defending, he's gone down hill a lot this season.
ok anyone can miss a penalty but at least try and improve after that but no the same old same from him.

Aurier is the only RB with potential. Look at Mendy, he's a liability, can't defend to save his life, but because he's fast and attacking pep loves him, very similar to aurier

Full back is such a crucial position for us and only Rose (who is often out) and possibly KWP (how can we know when he gets so little time) are good enough. We need to seriously upgrade these positions.

Having said that, do posters need to be quite so venomous towards one of our players?

I don't like digging out our own players but I genuinely can't remember him having a decent game since the World Cup? The issue is we have other priorities we need to strenghen way ahead of RB and we already have three on our books.

I don't think Trippier will be sold.

Its more likely to be Aurier or KWP going out on loan - even though i'd prefer the latter two.

In theory Trippier gives us a good delivery into the box when we play against teams that will sit in deep and defend compact, similarly to Davies on the left. Having that plus a more athletic fullback seems to be the way Poch likes to rotate.
