Blistering barnacles.
I thought that the stadium was all going to be lit up akin to Allianz.
Whilst it looks pretty decent, the lights do appear somewhat random from the pictures posted.
Still, stadium itself looks the mutts nuts.
EDIT: @Dunc2610 that explains my thinking it looks lit randomly. Do you know how much actually will light up ??
Stay out of this thread if you have epilepsy
that's a light show
It's just a placeholder I think.Apologies if this has been covered already but the U23 fixtures from April onwards are listed on the OS as being played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/matches/u23/).
The Chelsea match on March 1st is still at the Lamex in Stevenage but everything after that (no home games until Monday April 8th) is at the new stadium.
Seems odd to use such a big stadium for the U23s when about a third of these matches have taken place at our training ground this year. Either capitalising on people who can't get tickets for the first team games once it opens or potential test events? Would hope the former as 29th April for the second test wouldn't be great for the first team getting in before the end of the season.
It's just a placeholder I think.
I did research work for NFL a few years back on;
1. If the ground would be suitable due to conflict in fans of football clubs not wanting to attend a Tottenham stadium.
2. Whether a franchise over here would be well supported
On number 2, I personally feel it would fizzle out after a couple of years. It will be seen as a lesser organisation that free agents won't want to join, fans will start to get fed up after the novelty factor has worn out and they've seen their favourite stars a couple of times. Add to that, most of the "real" NFL fans already have a team to support and won't change that based on location, I personally feel it won't work. I certainly expect them to try it but i'm far from convinced it will last.
Oh great. 6/4/19. The only day in the whole fucking season I can’t make it
Thanks for posting that (and the other video)
Watching those videos it becomes clear that there is actually very little external work left to do
2 to 4 weeks and 99.9% of the remaining work will be complete (I'm guessing)
Couple that with internal work continuing and I'm starting to think we may well be in there by the end of the season
Hopefully this went ok....
