I thought we created quite a few. Another day and we could have scored a hatful.Slightly strange tactics of crossing the ball more than I've seen all season but having Llorente on the bench.
Bit of a laboured perfomance at times but that's also down to Newcastle's defensive solidity. Didn't create too many good chances and made a mess of the ones we did create.
Still, we plugged away and turned the screw towards the end and deserved the win.
Now to enjoy the rest of the weekend's football. An Arsenal draw (or even win) at City would probably make me quite happy, but then again seeing them totally slaughtered would too. Conflicted...
Imagine if we had beat united, wolves, watford, arsenal, liverpool and man city!Imagine we had beat Wolves and United!

At least they actually tried to score every once in a while.Brace yourself for the 'unlucky Newcastle' reports?

Good chances off the top of my head: moura free header, llorente missed 2 good chances, lamela hit the bar, sissoko had a good chance which was nearly parried for a tap in for sanchez, eriksen cleared off the line, someone else hit the post for us too I'm sure
That strange moment in a Spurs fan life when you want the Goons and Spam to get some kind of result ,but if they dont ok,is this a win ,win??
Don't feel conflicted, old chap - whatever happens will be positive: If City win, then the gap is enlarged, If Arse win, then we stay above City, and if they draw, we might drop to third, but we'd be level with City and still slightly further away for one of the chasing pack. It's all good.Slightly strange tactics of crossing the ball more than I've seen all season but having Llorente on the bench.

If anybody non-British (/English) reads this please ignore. This tit doesn't speak for the rest of usNorwigians to the left of me.. Koreans right behind... Fuck off.
Spot on. It could even be argued that it was the contact from the defender that pushed him laterally causing the ball to make contact with his arm. Had the defender not made contact, it would have hit his chest. It was ball to arm, not arm to ball.In case they do, if any of the stupid pundits try to claim that Llorente's assist for that goal should have been ruled out due to being handball they will be talking b*locks. (Shearer I'm anticipating you to chip in with something like that with your Newcastle bias). He didn't lean into that at all and if his arm did touch the ball he didn't really have much of a choice to get out of the way as he was shoved into the way of it whilst in the air when jumping with the Newcastle defender..
