Weird one. Jesus went mental and Poch looked like he was gonna deck him. Yet in the post match press conference, he said he was in the wrong and that he’d apologise to Dean when he sees him. Maybe someone else said something that they both thought Dean had said as they walked away?

Either way, something was quite obviously said as they walked away. Maybe he said something along the lines of ‘don’t blame me for your shithouse performance’.

Or maybe he was saying ‘thit, thot, thet’ hence why Perez was shouting ‘you can’t say that’.

On the Alasdair Gold article Poch said he reacted to "something stupid" so basically think it means Dean was a **** and Poch lost his head and he regrets losing his head which doesn't make Dean any less of a ****.

Have a feeling we won’t know what was said before Potch realeses
his next book, his team/friends seems like such a tight knit bunch
that I fear there will be very little spoilers/ITK on this :)

He’s magic you know ;)

He’s obviously gone the other way since everyone said he was a Spurs fan. But seriously.... we were crap today.

Potch kept telling Dean to repeat what he said to the camera to,
all while Potch was in his face and Jesus as pissed as i have ever seen him.

Gotta love Potch and his staff, lots of passion on display today.
I agree but for the love of god it’s poch, no ‘T’??

I'd have to see a slow motion replay, but the question isn't necessarily who got the last touch, rather whether the ball was still in play when Burnley had the last touch.

Honestly, almost impossible to call real time.

Mike Dean isn't to blame for that loss, that's on our inability to defend corners and the fact that Burnley had a spell after we scored where they absolutely outplayed us.

The reason we lose when Dean is in charge is because of his game management. It isn't the big calls, it's the inconsistent little one's. We received yellows and a couple fouls for fair airial challenges. Burnley absolutely battered Rose and Kane without penalty. Dean is the reason players dive. Keep your feet and he'll let you play. So, Spurs, who are trying to play through challenges are constantly getting clattered. Burnley, who went down constantly, get the calls. Spurs were called for 12 fouls to Burnley's 9. That doesn't make a lot sense when we had 60% possession.

This was the thing. We got penalised time and again for fouls from long balls (Kane did ‘half’ obviously run into someone, Llorente when he came on), but their two up front and we’ll as those at the back did it constantly. And got away with it constantly.

I also noticed (not sure of it was just me) that they constantly ran from offside positions to ‘turn away’ when someone from midfield came to follow up. Seemed a direct plan to pressure the defence to allow someone to catch up then suck out to not be interfering. Seemed to have a high number of offsides from this. Obviously not an infringement directly, but purely summed up their pulisball approach...

I know, its stuck with the "T" in autocorrect so most of the time it
stays like that since i forget to edit it. So blame the iPad, I'm just
an innocent/lazy bystander :meh:;)

Dont ask me why its stuck like that, have no idea what a potch is o_O

Let me guess, we lost today because mike dean was out to get us again. LOL
I heard somewhere that we have lost 9/15 games Mike Dean has refereed since the start of the 17/18 season. In that time we've lost a total of 14 premier league games, so he has refereed 2/3 of the games we've lost. :(

Apparently the rumour is that Dean told Poch to fuck off or something, and Poch was saying repeat that to the camera, and Perez was saying, you can't say that to him. Who knows? Could just be someone starting a rumour or could be right.
Technically Poch might have been in the wrong for fronting up, but I for one am glad he did. I love the passion.

That would be some serious amateurish behaviour, so its probably just a rumour, would be fun to know though.
Cant remember the last manager we had that lost his temper in such a passionate and cool manner.

Love this guy (y)

You know what, you're right. The league and its officials are all conspiring against us because they so desperately want us to fail.

I'll happily call out a bad refereeing performance but people were ready to jump on Dean from the get go for obvious reasons. What I take issue with is the constant victim mentality of our fans, there's always an excuse, it can never be because a team out fought or out played us.

We either make excuses or become self deprecating to the point where we sound like a bunch of 13 year old girls. It wasn't the officials fault Foyth lost his man, it wasn't the officials fault that our defense were tossing it off, or that Eriksen was a fanny for their second.

I thought Dean had a poor game, not a horrific one and nowhere near as bad as some are making out, that's the last I'm posting about it because SC turns into a mob once you dare question if perhaps we were at fault and not the officials.

your right we were at fault we played badly, but mainly after we equalised. before that goal it was a pretty even contest which we had the better chances.

if an error is made and a goal comes from it then it effects the game, no one is going to be happy for the effected team. No 1 knows what the score would of been had they not guessed it

even the winning goal when they showed a still on sky the ball over the top that Aurier never cleared properly, looks like Wood was offside.

it then becomes worrying when you have so many things that effect a match and it's the same ref, and the weird thing is we never used to have problems with him until after that moment v Villa and it being blown up. Arsenal hate him, yet since that picture and their moaning they have won the last 8 times he has refereed them, yet before they struggled with him
