Played Chelsea four times this season, only once did the diamond midfield work against them. The two carabao cup games were a struggle but Poch continues to play the same way.

The players and manager lack the mentality to win anything.

Llorente coming on in both games has had a negative effect on the little football we were playing.

Odd decisions in both games.
Kanes back now so he shouldn't be coming on at all. We need energy not to start pumping the ball into the box, it's not our game.

It really hinges on this Saturday. The players mentality is being questioned and rightly so.

Would Barcelona or Real Madrid really want Eriksen? Just can't see it myself.

His contract situation is the only real reason. He’ll be out of either club within two seasons if they buy him.

He’s not good enough. It’s not just a technique thing either before anyone starts.

That was a really poor game from us. Really lacked potence. First touch was horrible. Second to most things.

tbf This was coming anyway. We were scraping through before. Something needs to change. All the playing out from the back is fucking stupid. It doesn't work, i just doesn't. We are punching way way above or weight.
Exactly, this run of results has been a long time coming, we haven't been playing well for a long time now, the odd half a game or so excepted. The lack of draws has massively helped mask it and I still maintain the lack of transfer activity has hurt us.

Looking at it with half a knee-jerk eye, Sissoko, Eriksen, Moura, Lamela and Llorente could move on and we wouldn't miss them. Eriksen and Lamela can be superb but it now feels like it's not often enough, it's possible they've given us as much as they are going to and its a shame, Eriksen can be so so much better but he's just not doing it. If we're looking to change the mentality, that's where I'd start. In midfield.

We play too many passes backwards, play ourselves into corners too often, look laboured going forward, the link between defence and midfield is broken, it's to feet and back, to feet and back all the while letting the opposition close you down bit by bit until we make a mistake and the link between midfield and up front is double broken, it's all too slow, too methodical yet there's seemingly no method, we take too long to do anything, it's poor to say the least.

I'm also starting to worry that Pochettino has (and I hesitate to say it) gotten as much as he can out of a number of the squad and with a some of the players starting to age, it's a concern when you consider the apparent reluctance to spend money.

Very worrying times. There's probably so much more to say but it's late and I'm not sure I can be arsed to carry on :D

What I'd do to just see us have Son wide left and Lucas wide right with Eriksen in between, let them run at the defenders. Getting sick of this narrow everyone standing one each others toes in the middle crap.

I don't even care about the second goal. It was a mistake, a stupid one but one that you'd be surprised to see again. The way we've played in the last two games as a whole is much much more worrying than a mistake from Lloris or Trippier.

One of our worst technical displays in a while. Anything with any bit of difficulty we managed to do poorly.

I'm convinced Trippier has done this on purpose.

Opened his body up wonderfully, for a composed finish

To be honest he can go anywhere as long as he leaves the PL
So obvious he isn't interested, at least Toby puts in effort. Eriksen has been shit for weeks and his body language is of someone who doesn't give a shit, get 80m for him (hopefully) and must invest it wisely.
Big summer coming up and losing CL revenue (if we do) could be damaging

I’m not questioning it, I have already made my mind up to be honest. Seen it too many times.

Still, delighted we threw away the FA Cup for this shit

Everyone will most likely go after trippier and lloris and rightly so, but eriksen put in one of the most disgraceful performances I've seen from a player of his caliber ever.

Very rare for us to lose two games back to back in the league. We look jaded and not sure if this is down to having too many players who are or have been carrying injuries. We really do miss Dele, Dier and today Verts as well as Rose. For me these are all players who would not allow themselves to be physically dominated. Eriksen certainly looks like he could use a break as does Son who of course said as much at the Asian Games

Nauseating performance. I'm very upset. There just seemed to be no real attacking intent. It was pass and shift, constantly recycling the ball instead of trying to unlock their defence. The slowness that gave them every chance to get back into position had me tearing my hair out. Poch really needs to turn this around as it's a bad time to slump.
