That game brought back a lot of bad memories, that was as toothless a performance as I can remember under Poch. We can pick individuals that were poor but I honestly couldn’t say one player put any real effort in. We just didn’t seem to care, every contentious decision from the ref was just accepted, every missed placed pass was just met with a thumbs up or never mind from a team mate. Even Poch was seen sitting with his feet up. I can accept losing but not like this. We desperately need some horrible nasty ****s of players, that aren’t afraid to give one of our own players a kick up the arse! We’re too fucking nice, even when Poch gets charged for having a go at a ref he somehow manages to look sweet and innocent. I love Poch and hope he is with us for a very long time but what I wouldn’t give for a Simeone type from time to time!

Because winners arent nice. Not on the pitch. We dont have any. Not a winner amongst them.

It may turn out to be a blessing in disguise, if we can hold on to top four to have CL next season at the new stadium. We’re not going to win the CL with the way we are currently playing this season anyway.
Trouble is , its starting to look like quite a big ' if'

Absolute bollocks. First rule if back pass. Check where keeper is at all times and don't pass back towards the net.
Who else we going blame? The breakdown in Indo/Pakistani relations? Perhaps the congressional hearing that Trump is a racist conman an cheat. Maybe that was the fault? Maybe that a fake fat American is meeting with a fake fat Korean to make up some big fat fake news together...Maybe it was they're fault?

No trippier second goal end off.

Lloris first goal end off

Definitely Trippiers fault. He's calling for the goal keeper to come out, then shits himself, kicks the ball, without looking up to whether Lloris is coming out, and just passes it past him when. He would have cleaned it up.

Trippier has and will continue to be a liability defensively, he's making bad/ridiculous decisions in every game he plays.

KWP might as well request a transfer if he can’t get in front of Aurier and Trippier. He’s the only one that deserves to play.

Said it after the man u semi final defeat last year (if someone wants to check) but we'll win nowt with poch. He's had us punching above our weight but we peaked in 16-17 and the last two years our results have often flattered us. He'll give us a top 4 push and some outstanding results here and there, and of course he's a classy guy who loves the club, but too often he and/or his players aren't good enough when the chips are down.

Not actively pushing for him to leave just because we have lost 2 games in a row, but i fear we wont get the squad overhaul we desperately need unless we change the manager. Seems he only wants a small pool of players and an even shorter shortlist of potential incomings. We just aren't good enough to stay as we are, before we even get to his and the team's weak mentality.

Arsenal and dortmund will smell blood. We are bang in trouble now

Why? Trippier had the ball. And when he did come get it, it was already sailing past him.

I don’t want to get into it on Lloris. Poor game from him, but that second goal was Trippier’s last action for the club in my book
Trippier was waiting for him to come, urging him to come and he should've been there, but with Willian closing Trippier then had to make a decision and made the wrong one.

Both to blame but i too was wondering where the fuck Lloris was.

How nice will it be to have a fresh injection of blood into the squad in the summer...

I tell you what’s strange. We have a number of players who I wouldn’t be sad to see leave, which is odd considering the quality of the team and our league positions.

I think our mentality is one of our biggest strengths now, not our weakness.

The markers of a good mentality is the amount of effort put in, the ability to win ugly and also to be a team that keeps at least trying to play and not giving up whatever happens.

The players are trying out there and whilst we'll never be perfect I think generally we're ticking all those boxes. The evidence shows that. We've hung in there despite the transfer fiasco, the wearisome Wembley being a turd that just won't flush along with the injuries too.

But there is increasingly a sense that Pochettino has taken this team as far as he can. And that's not me saying he should leave. It's me saying the squad needs investment now. That's the only way we progress to winning stuff.

The amount of surgery that needs to be done is mounting as a result of our inaction. There is still such a great opportunity to right the wrongs with Pochettino still here, but that window will shut very quickly if we're not careful. I feel like this summer is our last chance if we're serious about silverware in the medium term.

Good to see Watford, Bournemouth and palace turning up tonight FFS
Two seasons ago we routinely hammered Watford and Bournemouth whilst having no hiccups against Palace. We've stood still so now Watford put up a fight and Palace give us a fright.

You've previously alluded to the fact that Kane is perennially slow to get up to speed and it is ultimately costing us because we need that press from the front and not having him drop so far back into the number 10 role.

Compare this to say Klopp who will substitute Salah, this notion that Kane is untouchable once he crosses the white lines has to stop too although that being said, our attacking options are severely limited.

I've repeatedly said that my fear is Kane is burnt out by 28-30 (whichever team he plays for at that point......) and looks ultra stale, as the years of 55-60 games playing every minute catch up with him eventually.

As for being limited, It doesn't help when your team is lined up roughly like this in the second half (allow me some creative license.....):

With basically all of our attacking players trying to work in the same space and effectively trying to play football in an area the size of a sardine can.

You can always do different things with the options available. Telling e.g. Lamela and Son to go and play on either touchline and try and open some space out is one thing to start with. Work through any number of possibilities before you even get to substitutes. Instead we just do the same thing to no effect constantly. I wish I could go down to Hotspur Way and interrogate Poch about it all in the morning, I simply don't understand how you don't, cant, do anything, and show even a bit of imagination and doing something different to change a failing performance. Change might not work, but to not even try?

No winning mentality in the side due to no winners in the side. Our manager has never won nothing and is not strong enough ie Eriksen should be benched as is awful as a few others have been. But to bring Kane straight back in is why we’ve been shit as dynamics of the side has changed from a winning side to a loosing one. The message that sends to those boys who ground out 5 great wins while Kane has been out, they must be feeling like fuck you get me out of here. As I said in an earlier post playing Foyth and Aurier together on sat was absolutely shocking managing. Business end of the season strongest side every game no rotation address injuries when they occur. Sorry Poch but are you as good as they think???

We've been stuttering along for weeks mate. It ain't like we've been pasting teams To get where we are, bar the odd result. I was never counting my chickens with those 1 nils recently. We're 3rd now, but can you hand on heart say we'll finish there?

I thought we were fucked after United.

I think we’ve been utterly magnificent since then given the circumstances.

I believe we as fans should acknowledge and remember how good we were in adversity and try and support the team now we are in a slump.

It’s called “support”.

That was fucking tragic.
You'd never know they were the team that had a day less preparation, and had to play extra time on Sun. Woeful fucking display, and its that, that's more worrying than the result. We're not winning these games now, and unless our actual performances improve, I can't see the results improving.
The front 3 we're shocking, Lamelas first touch tonight was fucking hideous, and did very little right. Sonny now seems lost. The midfield was weak, slow, and uninventive. Eriksen was fucking powder puff, and created very little.
But outside of Trippiers superb finish, and Lloris effort, I thought defensively we weren't horrible.

I don't know if their feeling the effects now, of non stop football through the summer. But they better fucking find something in the next few days. If they don't, the fucking goons will be just a point behind us come Saturday night.

Pathetic performance tonight against a tired Chelsea, we had no spark, no creativity, no real urgency and no clue whatsoever going forward, the amount of passes that went astray was embarrassing.

We also seem to persist in playing it backwards in our own last third of the pitch and it constantly plays us into trouble, we frequently pass it back to Lloris who seems determined to play it sideways or backwards into a corner and we box ourselves there only to inevitably give the ball back to the opposition because we’ve deliberately made it more difficult to clear.
As for that pathetic OG there was absolutely no reason why Trippier even needed to attempt to pass it back to Lloris, he would or should have been capable of making a forward pass or launching a ball upfield in the same way that that any competent goalkeeper could have done.

Couldn't agree more. Ditto for our goal kicks where we knock it into our own corner flag, fuck about and lose it. Lloris has had an absolute horror season.

The fact that we have the ball on the edge of the area, everyone's screaming 'shoot' and the ball invariably ends up back at Sanchez or Toby, and then back to Davies, sideways again. Oh shit we've given it away... Infuriating.

You can see Lloris on the slow mo shouting leave it, leave it
