Does anyone have access to Spurs Odyssey? Apparently a poster on there 'Spurse' is claiming that we are going to announce Ndombele on Monday, as well as the new kit. Is this guy considered itk over there?
Would make sense - it's the 1st July. Suspect Clarke is being held until then, also.

Gives them time to make announcement films or whatever.

I imagine from a marketing point of view to announce two in 1 day would be good after no transfers for 500 days, the 2nd could be a "go on then here's another"

He plays "Right back there" - check your urban dictionary.
Thanks. Unfortunately there isn’t a toungue-in-cheek button otherwise I would have used that as well. Sorry just my feeble attempt at comedy ?

I'm really concerned that after all this time , Poch has forgotten how to put his arm round a new signing. Concerned

To clarify, he's not saying this is something that has happened in the last few days.

Tanguy Ndombele visits Tottenham training ground as he closes in on club-record summer transfer

Tanguy Ndombele visited Tottenham's Enfield training ground ahead of a club-record move from Lyon.

Details are still being finalised but Spurs expected to complete a deal which could be worth more than £60million for the France international in the coming days.

Ndombele is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year-deal which will see him become one of the club's highest-paid players, a considerable increase on his current wage, thought to be between £50,000-£60,000-a-week.

Waiting on him in terms of medical or for final agreement? Thought we had all the contract etc agreed already

he is due a medical, he is also on holiday and knowing Levy he won't pay for extra flights for him to cut his holiday short while saving a weeks wages

From that article:

Tottenham remain in pole position to sign Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon but much of their business depends on the future of current first-team players, including playmaker Christian Eriksen and right-back Kieran Trippier.

I do worry that we were counting on a huge windfall from Eriksen when planning this window, which is not seemingly forthcoming. Hopefully we can dig a bit deeper into our pockets to still get what we want should he stay ( I hope he does).

One things for sure, it's going to be real interesting after Ndombele, last year he might have been a sufficient summer but need 2 years worth of work, Clarke is a bonus, arguably so is Sessegnon. Lo Celso and a RB are needed and that's before any decision is made on Eriksen and Alder.
