Anyone else fee that Lo Celso is a bit of a gamble?
Yep , I've gone no deeper than YT , but he looks a smaller gentler man than the beast we've just signed . The Prem is tough place .

‘GLC is extremely close. Almost there, and contrary what any leaks saying ‘offer knocked back’ is not true. Sess and twin looks good as there. Due to injury and package. Steven is the package deal, but not sure if both him and Sess. Sess is almost certain. I am not that brave to say anything more confirming. Toby (Grhhh). Expect Tripps to go, with little help from us’
That pepe the journalist fella has just put up another tweet about Lo Celso but it’s all in Spanish also mentions dani olmo, someone magic it in to English please

ThanksBasic summary: we're close to a deal for GLC, we've offered a deal worth 68m euros, they want 75m, but then the story talks about levy, first signing Tanguy, and then saying levy is "involved with the signing of u21 international european champion Dani Olmo."
Anyone know anything about this?
Basically sounds as if betis want dani olmo in first to replace him.
Seeing the clubs olmo is linked to I would presume it’s us interested not BetisI took it as us wanting to sign him as well. Google translate may have mistranslated though.

Tottenham and Real Betis have approached positions for the transfer of Giovani Lo Celso, for which the Spurs, with the intermediation of the agency of Israel Pini Zahavi - who brought Neymar to PSG - already offer 68 million euros, close to 75 that Betis has set as a price to let the Argentine go. The Celso is still in Brazil, where on Saturday he will play with Argentina for the third and fourth place in the Copa América against Chile, so no news about his future is expected until next week, when his participation in the tournament.
Tottenham Daniel Levy, meanwhile, does not waste time, after having been almost two years without signing any player due to the construction of the new White Hart Lane, where he has invested around 1,000 million euros. A couple of days ago he closed the signing of Tanguy Ndombelé (Olympique de Lyon) for more than 70 million euros and, as we have been able to know, is now involved in the signing of the international sub 21 Dani Olmo, new European champion with Junior , Fabián and Dani Ceballos.
After closing this operation, it will be the turn of Lo Celso, an express request of Pochettino that Daniel Levy intends to attend, although neither the owner of Tottenham -that tries to sell before the Danish Erikssen and another series of players of the 'spurs'- nor Real Betis seem to be in too much of a hurry, because the Verdiblancos now close a millionaire transfer would make them more expensive in their portfolio.
Thanks.Dani Olmo
He was part of the Spanish squad that won 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Italy and San Marino, playing four matches, assisting one goal and scoring three including one in the final which made him be named Man of the Match.
