That's a lot to happen in a week. Even if I've been positive previously, I can't see all that happening.

Not really

We’ve been working on the potential GLC and Sess deals already, so i’d Imagine that things outdoor move very quickly once the financials are agreed between the clubs.

Deals for Toby and Eriksen can be done after the transfer window closes, so no real rush there.

Never been fully convinced we’ve been after Dybala.

Oh ye of very little faith

You brittle ma fekkers

I am fully convinced, and believe we WILL bring in our targets (2). My nads are fine-just:censored:

You can't blame us though, we've heard the same countless times.

I really hope DL delivers. Appreciate you sharing as always (y)

Be honest... was it a vice grip or a barbecue you used?

Ndombele is a nailed on starter, an upgrade on Sissoko, and was well worth 53 million.

Lo Celso and Sess are being bought as squad players. We should not be dropping a combined 120 million on them just to say we've signed a couple of players.
And if Poch was happy to I would question his judgement and keep him well away from the purse strings.

My prediction for what it's worth. GLC in the next 3-5 days. 1 on deadline day (praying for another but won't cry if doesn't come off).

Thanks for sharing.

How is it possible to be shocked at how this window seems to be turning sour yet not at all surprised at the same time. Just praying for a positive outcome, 9 days to go.

It's pretty much because this window has been built up as the one where we'd blow everyone out of the water while our competitors were struggling or inactive, only to see them burst into life in the last week while our situation has become more uncertain.

Understandably many people have become a bit concerned (while Arsenal fans, who expected cock all are suddenly strutting round with their pants down).

I've got my fingers and toes crossed that we come out the other side happy, but it's not a massive surprise to see a lot of frustrated fans at the mo.

That said, a couple of additions and I'm pretty excited about what this squad can achieve.

This.

I don’t even think these two are a priority at all. A forward I still think is more important.

Tbf at this point I'll take GLC and no major outgoings, worse comes to worse we offer Llorente reduced terms or promote parrott.

Not fussed about Sess if Rose stays

Yeh Poch is pissed. What’s new there?

I am not defending DL, but we are embarking on another close to 100m spend. Not small money FFS. I still expect two signings, that includes GLC. Sess, problem is the fanny tosh lot at Fulham, valuing him at 40m. And expect us to thrown in Josh, and pay a substantial amount.

A manager is not always going to get all his way. Fergie & Maureen will vouch for that.

Now if the TW closes, and we don’t achieve our targets. You know who to blame. And I do not expect anyone to defend Daniel Levy.

For what it’s worth, I am calm.
Well that’ll restore some sanity for at least the next ten minutes :happy::happy:

NOTE:
I will not take this conversation further lovely peeps!!!
Three right backs yes but it definitely is worrying that we sold the one that was chosen ahead of those three

And a man with his nads on the line is a man with a lot at stake.....
So if your staying convinced, I guess we all should believe.

I’d imagine so much groundwork has already been done on both Lo Celso and Sessegnon, that the point at which a fee can be agreed, it all should move very quickly. We know they both apparently want us, so perhaps agreements with players are already tentatively in place.

Problem is even if we get the 2 targets Herc alludes to, this window will still feel like a disappointment. I understand that we shouldn't be paying well over the odds for Sess and GLC, but the time this is taking and the 0 movement on some of our deadwood is nothing short of embarrassing imo.

Just feels like another Spurs window and that actually hurts me. I thought we'd changed given our start to the window. My fault for believing I guess.

If we spend over 100mil net on Ndombele, GLC and Sessegnon yet you're disappointed, then that's your fault, not the clubs.

Well, at least we all have the experience from the last few windows to break our spirals into the deep depths of transfer window depression.
