SPURS EXPLORING RIGHT-BACK OPTIONS

Tottenham are exploring right-back options in the transfer market after Juan Foyth suffered an injury that is expected to keep him out for some time.

Napoli’s Albania international Elseid Hysaj is one of the names they are considering in the last four days of the window.

Should just try and sign Danny Alves think he still doesn’t have a club sure he could do a job for us for a season

Never seen him play but a few seasons ago I think he was highly regarded but has been shit recently.
There seems to be a real hole at the moment when it comes to decent fullbacks (well for Spurs it seems)

I don’t know about you but if we get Hysaj then that should keep everyone happy until January.

I can't lie I have not seen even 5 minutes of this guy live. All I have heard is that he's basically what Trippier was for us. Mostly shit.

Linked with Chelsea and United. I think I read somewhere that At. Madrid wanted him, before they bought Tripper. The Albanian Tripper

He was really good a few years back. Gets up and down well, accurate passing and a good tackler. His crossing isn't his best attribute.

I haven't seen much of him in the last couple of seasons. He may have stagnated a little at Napoli.

I don´t really know what to make of this rumour... his stats are really underwhelming (no goals, two assists in 35 matches last season). At 25 (will be 26 during the upcoming season), he seems to be developing the wrong way as he apparently peaked two-three seasons ago. What is he really offering us that we don´t already have in Aurier, KWP, Foyth, Toby & Dier?

If indeed we are looking for a new right (wing- or full-) back (and that is a big IF tbh, believing Herc and the other ITKs) - and don´t really care about the much debated Home Grown status - I would imagine the club would have had a closer look at Noussair Mazraoui of Ajax. He´s almost 4 years younger, and has much more interesting stats (48 matches, 4 goals, 5 assists last season), and can play in a several positions (LB, CB, CM & DM). Poch and his team is probably well aware of him after the CL semifinals.

If transfermarkt is to believe, he´d also be a less expensive target. Not to mention how Poch like to work with younger players that still are "moldable".
