It would be absolutely amateur if we let United flirt with him for over a week and knowledge of these wage/image rights problem were public and we didn't have assurances we could iron this out and go in with 2 days left. For that reason I have to believe that we have a certain confidence we can get around them because it would be fucking stupid otherwise.

It is so very hard to believe (this is pure denial on top of the denial that this deal is happening) that we wouldn't know the situation going into this. Remember that Man U don't have CL which is a big make or break thing for a lot of these players, especially one of his caliber.

Agree, no chance he steps a foot in europa league. He is just below messi and Ronaldo in my opinion. Top top top player, love watching him play.

If our front line is Son, Kane, Dybala, Lucas then we can really do something big! Come on Poch, woo him!

Well, either we've sorted the image rights/personal times or we're bloody idiots for falling into the obvious trap.

Isn't this the guy that's been bang on the money all summer
He’s also the guy who, on the SkySports Transfer Talk Podcast today said Dybala’s representatives wanted €40m agent fees and to retain full control of his image rights when negotiating with Man Utd.

The optimist (and logical thinker) in me believes there's no way we'd let this hit the press if we weren't sure about the wages/image rights

Give him whatever he wants. ??

Seriously though, any idea how much that would cost us overall? I assume that is before his wages also.

This has what’s been said but I imagine this figure is based on the 350k wages rumoured for Man U,which we won’t be paying

Oh my god. I cant do this to myself.
If that happens,. You gotta feel sorry for Lucas, been our best player in pre-season and scored a hattrick to get us to the final

He’s perfect actually. Mostly plays as a 10, but can also play on the right or as a striker.
Creates a lovely scenario where all 3 of Lucas, Son and Dybala can play any position in the front three if Kane is injured/rested.
