I don't understand, why didn't he have the hand op weeks ago and recover then? He's been on holiday.

He must of hurt it pretty bad to have to have an operation. I’m not sure I’m buying the banging it on a table in the moment of celebration excuse.

I broke my hand once when a cabinet fell on it.

Weirdly the doctors called it a boxers fracture, but I honestly don’t know why - a cabinet fell on my hand at 4am when I was drunk. Honestly

This thread needs a moving... like back to PSG moving.

No seriously, Herc just mentioned Serge might be heading back to PSG. Time to move thread to the transfer section?!

there a bit in the telegraph tonight about a French team bidding €15 million for him. Can’t see us accepting that without having a replacement in, so I doubt we will sell.

Would Aurier move? Yes
Would we sell? Yes

Will it happen? No

I don't know I can certainly imagine spurs selling both right backs and not replacing them.

Which begs the question where's all our academy fullbacks. Having to shoehorn in midfielders there during preseason is odd

He would cost stupid amounts of money so late in the window. Don't know if anybody actually would be paying that. But I agree with kaz Hirai, standard business protocol would suggest that we'd happily sell two RBs with no replacement.

Sell him if we think we can do better - but, tell the truth, I was hoping he’d be first-choice this year. Give him a consistent run-out and see what gives.

What’s the worst that can happen :sneaky:
