Yes but the ugly possibility is that United may have upped their off to Dybala.
They’re in for Mandzukic. Not Dybala.
Yes but the ugly possibility is that United may have upped their off to Dybala.
My main concern here is that JJ alluded to a select few people being in a meeting and Romano seemingly reporting that the meeting was concludedIronically, the most insightful thing that’s been posted in here is JJ saying he has no idea what’s happening.
I’d imagine we’re at least an hour away from getting information that isn’t just people throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.
But they were in for Dybala as well and none of us know what's really going on.They’re in for Mandzukic. Not Dybala.
They have another couple of weeks to find one. It's not deadline day for them.
I think they feel they can't lose both mandzukic and Dybala, if they loose the former, Dybala can play out wide or in the centre at a pinch.I don't know enough about Juve but would Eriksen be a good fit for them?
If so, and Christian happy to go there, perfect deal all round.
Unfortunately I think Christian only has eyes for Spain.
If they wanted a replacement why'd they bin off Keane?
Maybe before Utd came in with a big wad of cash for Mandzukic
Love the positivity and that is my feeling too - it's like we would have BF waiting in the wings ready to go..If this deal was truly off then I would have thought we'd have heard much more positive noises coming from Portugal re Fernandes as a contingency.
This Dybala deal has much more mileage in it yet you feel.
I was always slightly skeptical as to whether this Dybala deal would get over the line, but even still Ornstein's info makes no sense. The clubs have obviously been in discussions for a while about it and it was Juve's idea to get rid of Dybala in the first place so for Ornstein to be right the following sequence of events would have to occur:
THat just doesn't make any sense unless Juve were West Ham levels of incompetent (which they aren't usually) OR they've just been stringing us along for shits and giggles, which doesn't really make sense because they're the ones who decided to try and shift Dybala in the first place.
- Juve decide they want to move Dybala on and start shopping him around
- Juve and Dybala meet with several clubs, including Spurs, to discuss details
- Juve and Dybala continue to have talks with Spurs and reach some kind of deal in principle and go away to draw up the paperwork/work out the specifics
- Despite all this going on for a week or so, a few short hours before the transfer deadline, Juve suddenly out of nowhere realise "Hang on a minute, if we sell him, then we probably need to buy someone else! Oh shit" and then suddenly pull the plug on everything.
Personaly, I think Ornstein is full of shit. Not saying I think the deal will go through, it may well fall down, but I don't believe that them all of a sudden deciding they need to sign a replacement first will be the reason for it.
But they were in for Dybala as well and none of us know what's really going on.
Digby sounds far too close to dibby, for me.I've always maintained a bloke called Digby is the principal authority on all things Juve.
Not dead.
If it does then it makes a lot more sense for them to sell Mandzukic who's older and not as talented. This might come down to a case of only one of Dybala and Mandzukic can leave. Pitting us and united in a competition to see who can dance better for Juve. Can Levy dance??
