Only having two members of the squad at a summer tourney and no major injuries means this summer was smoother than most.

Shame the two targets he got at the end of the window were at a tourney or injured, so I reckon he should just get on with it.

Love him to death but he is talking more bollox lately.

On sky he referenced the transfer window in Europe so clearly some players that are linked with moves away haven't settled mentally.

Nothing to be done with Lo Celso or Sessegnon. One injured and one in the Copa. We always take time to bed into a season but 4 points from the first two fixtures is a good return with Newcastle to come.

I this you’re inferring something that isn’t there, I doubt Pochettino feels disadvantaged by 5 fewer days with Lo Celso and our treatment room having to cater for Sessegnon instead of Fulham’s. Clearly he means the early closure of our window, he’s mentioned it many times.

Only read the quotes, but would love to see the video footage of how he said some of this stuff. I think he may be getting annoyed with the journo questions more and more.
