There’s no evidence to suggest that walking off is going to have sweeping effects on the society and culture of half of Europe so for me the best message to send back is that it doesn’t bother them and win convincingly

what happens to the fans who have spent hundreds to thousands of pounds to go and support their team especially abroad? Fans will end up not going.

Make the team suffer. Send a player off from their team for every incident until they have to play the rest of the game with 8 men. Let's see how they like their own players giving them abuse back as they're sent off one by one.

I bet there's a load of black fans who won't go to games out there because of this already.

It's difficult to solve. I've never agreed with punishing the masses due to the actions of a few. Seeing their own authorities, outside their FA, take action/ change laws to criminalise the behaviour that targets individuals would have longer term and better impact. Stop the game, drag the 30 dickheads out, bang them up, restart the match. That way decent people enjoy it, morons are nicked, racism is being dealt with. As opposed to this flowery half srsed approach.

Anyone found guilty is then banned from attending future games.

what about the thousands of decent Bulgarian fans? cancel for the game because of two dozen morons?
Just name and shame the racist twats but don't punish the normal supporters who came to watch a game of football. This reminds me of tactics employed by weak teachers at school.
Hate speech in general means there should be more speech, not less. Let those with 'hateful' speech (defined by?) try to justify and defend it in the public space.

I think that’s too bad for the rest of the lot, but we can’t continue this. The match has been haulted two times already. Let the Bulgarian FA and FIFA sort this out and if the game get’s cancelled, too bad for them

I hope Dele is watching Barkley score these tap ins that he should be getting and use it as motivation to knuckle down.

I know we’re 4 up but we still need to be clinical in front of goal and not trying to walk the ball in.

I don’t know why we agree to keep playing in this part of Europe, it’s the same story every time

Probably not a good idea to continue to award major international tournaments to backward racist/anti Semitic/homophobic countries either, but here we are.

UEFA - keeps racist countries in tournaments
FIFA - hands tournaments to corrupt and human rights abusers

It will only stop when fellow fans turn on them. That will come from the collective being punished.

It’s a shame when you have to watch a game and have the question of abandonment at the forefront of your mind as opposed to enjoying watching your team/country play.

It's depressing seeing Kane not score that. For all his constant improvement as a playmaker, his finishing has gone downhill a little.
