I honestly don’t know what we should change. 4-5-1 when we don’t have the ball is the right thing and we do look a bit dangerous on the counter

I would like to see Ndombele come on but for who? Maybe keep it as it as until the 60 minute

NDombele for Alli or Eriksen... need to beef up our central midfield, especially with Sissoko on a yellow and Winks giving away poor free kicks.

Excellent scoreline, excellent tactics, middling performance, albeit gutsy.

Absolutely baffled by people calling for us to be more offensive. Why? Just for the sake of it? This neagtive, bitty, counter & long-ball game, with disciplined lines and triggered pressing seems perfect for the moment to me.

We can't sit back and park the bus for 45 minutes.

This is such an excruciating watch, feels like the inevitable will happen, need more control in midfield & to stop giving away silly free kicks
I don’t know how people can say this is good. The way we are going Liverpool goals are inevitable

Yes we've been bombarded, but we're doing OK.

The big thing is Robertson, he's getting way too much space.

Aurier is constantly leaving him totally open. Bring Jan on and move Toby to RB.

Ndombele will give us an out ball, can pass under pressure and drive us up the pitch.
And leave a hole in central defence?

Agree with others sentiments, Moura and Ndombele on for Winks and Eriksen would go a long way to helping our competitiveness.

Yes it's infuriating seeing us concede possession so easily, but playing deep and counter-attacking has to be the gameplan once you've gone 1-0 up like that. Main problem is failure to retain and use the ball when we do get it back. Get Tanguy on ASAP. With him on we've could have torn Pool apart on the break in that first half.

Probably because he's tracking Mane further in.

I’d be tempted to change Eriksen for Ndombele fairly soon, Dele for Lo Celso on the hour and finally Sissoko for Dier or Lucas, depending where the game is at, around the 80 minute mark.

Tough indeed but their three CMs are killing our two. Therefore we need our AM to help or bring on some DMs.... Winks and sissoko need help. I'd love Tanguy for winks or lamella for eriksen. Given how far forward they play son and Kane can handle the attack side of things.

Anyone else feel it’s inevitable that the scouse chrome dome, who’s in charge of reffing this game, is going to send one of Sissoko or Rose off?

Good idea with the 4-5-1 . Liverpool struggling to find the ball like they did against United

I'd swap out Dele for dier though and switch roles with winks who is utter garbage at defending

But Dele has played well in the first half.
