You cant retain the ball and you just watch and do nothing.
You watch Robertson get behind Eriksen time after time and do nothing.
You dont need a profound understanding of football to realise you need to do something to change the flow of the game.

Eriksen and Alli offered fuck all for the whole game and he just left them on to get out fought and be so fucking wasteful and give the ball away time after time.

I really dont understand what the fuck he is playing at, hes either fucking losing his mind or he is doing it deliberately, either way it isn't fucking acceptable.

I never thought I would feel the way I do about him now but I cant fucking stand him. The amount of money he is on and he his horrible at his job, this isn't a blip or a phase we are going through, we a just managed by someone who is no longer able to do his job.

Just fuck off.

Levy must be questioning why Poch is ignoring the new singings and continuing to pick his old favourites even though most of them want out. Aurier was desperate to leave in the summer. Toby won't sign a new contract. Eriksen ditto. Rose has wanted out for years and his form has been in decline for two years now. Levy bought him Ndombele, Lo Celso and Sessegnon this summer for big money - the best part of £150M. I know the latter two have had injuries, but today was a classic example of Poch showing he is not the man to take us forwards by picking Winks, Sissoko and Eriksen in midfield and leaving Ndombele and Lo Celso on the bench.

The guy is absolutely clueless and it shows more and more each week. No plan b, terrible selection, no clue how to make subs, absolutely ridiculous we have had to put up with him the last 2 months. At this point it really asks questions about if Levy has a fucking clue too, pull the trigger now before we are to far into a spiral

Just not a tactical manager. Has all the right traits to motivate an underdog and get them firing to a point but when it gets down to the nitty gritty of in game management, time and time again hes come up short.
100% agree. On one hand this and on the other hand our players aren’t quite good enough.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

How anyone can justify his team selections or in game management is beyond me after this.

One step forward two steps back, biggest frustration for me is we actually had our moments. Had we played the best team we could or been a little more positive rather than inviting their pressure we could have got something out of that game.

Not going to bother with saying whether he will go as Levy is backing him. What I will say though, anyone saying he was not backed by Levy in the transfer window, he is being more than backed now so if Levy does get rid of Poch there should.be no calls of he wasnt backed.
I'd be surprised if you can find anyone backing his selections or in game management.

I was never firmly on the Poch out side because I still had faith that he could turn over a new leaf, approach the job with renewed vigor and energy and hopefully turn things around. Despite his obvious failures and lack of silverware, he's done a lot of good for the club and deserved that chance at least.

However, I think this game has killed any optimism I had, to be honest. After the starting lineup was announced, it was clear that he'd learnt nothing. It just looks like he's bored of the job, there's no new ideas, new approaches, just the same old tired methods. Mentally, he's already checked himself out and that is unacceptable. He needs a new challenge and we need a new direction. It's as good as over and we need to accept that as soon as possible.

100%, mate. Perfectly put.

That's the difference between you and me, I never firmly believed that Pochettino was the right guy to turn it around from here.
But you are correct, he's achieved very well for the club up until this season.

To actually line up 433 and STILL not pick Lucas Moura is a travesty. What the fuck has Lucas Moura done to Pochettino.

I really wish we could just get a new manager in with fresh ideas to make much better use of the players we have in the squad. We could do soo much better than this.

Poch strategy during the game and his attempt on changing the game is to swap Eriksen with Lo Celso almost on stoppage time..
