I bet that comment about having to wait 10 years for a trophy didn't help morale
That quote in hindsight was a bit mental.

He was brilliant, he deserves his own show.I am in awe that Sky Sports managed to find a ketted up Spurs-supporting queen on his way back from the local sauna (don't ask) willing to deliver sassy soundbites on Tottenham High Road at 9 in the morning tbh
Spursfan TV?!He was brilliant, he deserves his own show.
I'd be very surprised if he didn't. People seem to be putting him in the 'Joe Cole' bracket rather than the 'Sneijder/Ozil' bracket.I hope he takes to Gio
He's made it work with plenty of #10 types before, Di Maria, Sneijder, Ozil, Oscar, Fabregas. Surely Lo Celso has enough fire in him defensively that it will be fine.I remember earlier in the season whilst Jose was doing punditry he named Lo Celso and Ndombele as two quality signings, I can't find the exact quote but there was an article posted on the Express website which touches on this.
Hopefully this indicates he's liked what he's seen so far from them (which I think the majority of the fan base agrees with) and is willing to give them both big roles in the squad.

I saw Lo Celso live in the Copa America and he's a grafter.
That's why I'm so optimistic. We have no Pogba Martial Hazard types who just want to showboat and show how good they are. We have players who understand hard work before the talent.
Spot on.Im
I'm not saying who it was for obvious reasons. As I've posted all along though. There has been no big fallings out, and I'm sure the bulk of the players still love him as a person and for he's done for them.
There is a difference though in that and not being willing to continue with what's going on football wise. Remember quite a few of these players have gone through the bulk of this 5 year plan which was seeing progress to find out there is another long term plan in order to get any pots on board. Not only that but the way they are being asked to play in this new project is different to what was clearly working before. Players careers are short, and for the top players it's easy to move on to a team that's already at the top of the game trophy wise. It's not like they didn't like him, they just stopped believing, and had he stayed certain player(s) would have asked to leave.
I'll leave it at that.
Actually a player that Lo Celso reminds me of a lot is Oscar, a guy who Jose absolutely loved.I'd be very surprised if he didn't. People seem to be putting him in the 'Joe Cole' bracket rather than the 'Sneijder/Ozil' bracket.

When did he get back from international duty? I’m wondering if that could be the reason he was an unused sub today.
I hope he gets a start on Tuesday, I understand why Jose brought on Eriksen today but really, Celso has to be above him in the pecking order.
Could see us trying to get out of this purchase now.
Reckon Mourinho would rather spend the money put aside towards a defender
Based on the formation and players picked yesterday where does GLC fit in?
Can only really see him as a no 10 or wide right in the 4231 formation we played yesterday and the way Lucas and Dele played he could be in for a spell on the bench for now

Depends who you want to believe tbhPretty sure ITK stated there’s a clause that if we get European football the transfer has to happen. The loan was just a way for Betis to not pay PSG as much money
