Player watch: Christian Eriksen

So you're not answering my question. This is a forum after all isn't it? I'm curious to why people like Jose is playing him then, and he's actually doing better at the moment when he comes on. And people still bash him because they believe the media bullshit & can't recognize when he's actually decent. So blinded. Remember Christian hasn't said anything since the summer. I think Jose would freeze him out or not playing him if that was the case.

So how about we stand by our players when our manager clearly does? Obviously he believes Eriksen is better then GLC right now and rightly so. You play your best players because you want to win the game. Not players who just came to a new country, doesn't speak english, don't know the league yet, hasn't shown anything in his time here. You play the most creative player in the PL for the past 5 years because you wanna win.

Contract or not.
He hasn't influenced a game he has been brought on in other than Aston Villa.

The bloke checked out, he passed to the advertising hoardings last night.

You want the flip side to Jose trusting him? This is Jose showing him up to be the thoroughly uninterested player he has become in the last year in a Spurs shirt.

I'll be fucking glad to see the back of him, and no, we're now in the big league, loyalty counts jack shit these days, that contract they sign - it's just cashmoneydollar.

You're so blinded it's kind sad..
Get your glasses back on & come with some valid points to back up your posts instead of that nonsense.

.... and again.

Well yes and rightfully so as he doesn't wanna be here. But when Mourinho has no other choices, and GLC is way of the pace he's gotta play.

Which post do I take criticism of him personally?

He stole Prince Andrews hair. Deal with it. ?

That said. CE plays like he’s in Pizza express Woking every time he pulls a Spurs shirt and he never sweats either.

The evidence is mounting.

He didnt do anything wrong at least. He just shouldnt be played ahead of GLC or even Sess.
He didnt do much wrong. But he also didnt do much right. Besides looking like he really didnt want to be there, he didnt do much of anything, really.

Yeah, absolutely. As I said, he shouldn't be played ahead of some other players. But when people said that he was utter gash and makes it sound like he was the worst player on the pitch then I wonder how they would describe Harry Kane's performance yesterday. I thought it was very disappointing from a captain.

That's just wrong, and you know it if you watched the game.

He had some passion last night, made some tackles, and moved the ball great.
It been like that since Mourinho came in, and probably why he gets picked.

I agree under Poch, there wasn't much of anything to be honest..

Considering this is the Eriksen thread I'd hedge a bet talking about Kane in here having a shit game wouldn't make a lot of sense, eh?

Eriksen has been gash, one game out of 15 doesn't cut it this season.

Been saying it since the first story to him and Madrid broke around the same time last year, he checked out and bar the goal at Brighton in the dying minutes earlier this year, his 15 minute stint against Villa at the start of this season, the man has no interest in turning up and putting in a performance or a shift.

Utter gash.

I never said that you should talk about Kane in here, but I don't see anyone calling him out for a quite pathetic display either (in his thread). I'm not even defending Eriksen's performance. But after some games he doesn't deserve to be targeted, more than others. My criticism of him after yesterday would be, yeah he didn't achieve a lot. But it was Mourinho that put him on, I've said twice now that I don't think he should come on ahead of others but now he was subbed on. He wasn't shit (he absolutely has been shit in many games in the past couple of months) and he wasn't great but together with Ndombele he gave us something resembling a midfield.

I'll start up the Kane stuff shortly, everyone else today has been in the cross hairs on here today - brb.

Good, because I think they all fucking deserve it. Including sacred players like Kane and Son.
It's going to be one of those seasons I think.

The whole club has its work cut out to find any positive.

What a time to be a Spurs fan!

Really struggling to see how he keeps getting on ahead of Lo Celso who's looked class when he's played. He clearly doesn't want to be here & he's playing like shit... What's the point?

I thought he was OK last night. No worse than any of the others. He did play a great pass to Aurier towards the end of the game.
