TEAM FORM: ____ BAYERN WWWLL _____ SPURS WWWLW ___ (All Competitions)

Bayern Munich (BM) have only lost one of their 5 previous meetings with us in all competitions (W3 D1), scoring 13 goals in those 5 games - over half of which came in their 7-2 win in October this season. Their 7-2 win over us was one of only two occasions an English side has conceded 7+ goals in a single match in any European competition, along with our 8-0 loss at 1.FC Koln in the Intertoto Cup in July 1995.

BM striker Lewandowski has scored 10 UEFA Champions League (CL) goals in this season's group stage, including a brace against us in October. The record for goals in the group stage of a single campaign is held by Christiano Renaldo, who scored 11 on 2015-16 for Real Madrid.

Both us and BM have different managers from our previous meeting October, with Niko Kovac and Poch departing respectively. Its the first time a fixture has seen both teams have different managers in each game since 2017-2018, when BM and Anderlecht changed Managers between fixtures.

This is the 8th time in the last 10 seasons Bayern have topped their CL group - however, should they beat us it would be the first time they have ever won all six group stage matches in a CL campaign.

This will be our first visit to Bayern in any competition since November 1983 in the UEFA Cup last 16; We have lost both of our two away games against them in all competitions by an aggregate 5-1 scoreline.

We are looking to win consecutive away CL matches for the very first time, having won 4-0 at Redstar on Match Day 4. Kane scored his 20th CL goal against Olympiacos, reaching the tally in he fewest number of appearances of any player (24). He has scored in all four matches he has played against German opponents (5 goals).

Mourinho has lost both his previous away games against BM in the CL, losing in the quarter finals with Chelsea in 2004-05 and the semifinals with Real Madrid in 2011-12. Against them he won the final in 2009-10 with Inter Milan.

We will rest a fair few players I’m assuming. If they do the same we could get something. But let’s be honest. It doesn’t matter. As we are into the knockouts baby. Yeah!

Genuinely intrigued by Jose's lineup tomorrow night. I've never looked forward to a dead rubber match, that we're likely to get cuffed in, so much.

Jose said in his post match press conference that Harry Kane definitely won't be playing so that gives us a lead to his thinking.

Kovac sacked and two defeats in a row in the Bundesliga, Bayern not looking good atm, whilst we are progressing and looking better. I root for a good game and some youngsters making their debut. COYS
