I like how (insert player name) was calling to be played, and then slammed left right centre when he finally plays.

I like how (insert player name) was being called shit in past matches but was so missed when he was absent, thinking he would be the right player for (insert opponent) match.

It happens every week too. The reality is, the players aren’t good enough. Players like Aurier and Foyth have too many mistakes in them to be at the level we want to be at. They’ll never change either.

I genuinely thing we could and would be where Liverpool are if we had done what they did, ie made the right investments at the right time over the past 3 years. They did and we didn't and we are seeing the results now, that is on Levy as far as I am concerned.

Yup. We’re in a total mess now and two years ago we were flying. Lack of investment poisoned everything.

1st half was absolutely terrible. José makes 2 HT subs which Poch never did and 2nd half we're like a different side. IMO 2nd half we were good and played some slick football.
The slow starts must be fixed asap.

We went stale while liverpool went strength to strength. To be fair we had a new stadium to pay for but can you believe how typical for us that is! Produce our best side for about 40 years and our home stadium just as we have to leave and halt spending! Unbelievable

It was clueless in the first half, and we gifted them the lead again in the second after getting back into it. That's a poor point. Europa League might tick some folks boxes, Thursdays in the middle of fucking no where does fuck all for me.

It's not quite as thrilling as coming back from behind against Norwich - twice - admittedly, but I honestly think you'll reconsider in November when we're enjoying one of those glamorous European nights against Boavista or Sion.

Instead we invested in that shiny thing we try and play football in every other weekend...

Id much rather have 2 x Ben Davies in the team than Aurier and Foyth. A no frills players who does the basics, works hard and most importantly makes little to no mistakes. Aurier and Foyth are a guaranteed car crash in the making.

When t
If I never see Eriksen take another corner it'll be too soon
When there are probably somewhere in the region of 18,000 people in the crowd who can take a better corner I think someone else should have a go.
When you're hitting the first defender with your last half a dozen attempts I think its time someone else should have a go.

What really baffles me is surely you practice and whoever is best at them gets the nod yes? So does that mean we have a squad of top flight footballers who cant take a better corner than hitting the first man? How can that be?

Lamela takes a good corner imo.

Yeah, I'll be doing something better with my time.

I'm willing to give Foyth, as a young defender, the benefit of doubt. He will grow and become a better player.

Aurier on the other hand is already at the age where he should have ironed those mistakes out of his game. So I agree with you on Aurier

Barring getting a player sent off or a dodgy officiating decision under no circumstances should we be dropping points against relegation cannon fodder.
What about a freakish own goal?
Lets be honest, that's why we've only got 1 point and not 3.

I agree he's a reactive player who plays best with his instincts. I remember for a long time Keane used to be the same though. The criticism of him today seems a bit harsh. He wasn't too bad, did great to set up Kane for the penalty and just offside for his goal. He just needs to learn not to slow down when in on goal and just put his foot through it.

Some of his flicks and tricks and attempted through balls are beyond frustrating. I’m not a believer of ‘yeah but you stop him trying that stuff you take away from him’
When it’s clearly not on, don’t do it. Sometimes the simple pass is fine. The top talents in that area of the pitch wouldn’t never have made it to the level they are at if they gave up possession/wasted chances as much as Dele does.
He’s such a weird footballer in this day and age. He wouldn’t get anywhere near City or Liverpool’s first team.

It was the same under Poch last season though. We regularly went a goal behind and the manager had to change things to turn things around. A time comes when we have to realise that it’s not the manager but the players.

There is the semblance of an excellent midfield three in there. Ndombele and Lo Celso either side of a DM, would be mustard.
