Still don't see how ND and Le Celso fit in the same team. That midfield was a train wreck in the first half.
If we had our usual shit team we would have been relegated. Bloody lucky we were decent
It's not quite as thrilling as coming back from behind against Norwich - twice - admittedly, but I honestly think you'll reconsider in November when we're enjoying one of those glamorous European nights against Boavista or Sion.
On the contrary, the finale had me pause for a second, but then I laughed out loud. The more I read it, the funnier it became. You started strong but faded. Should have doubled down. I'd have gone with wankers or pricks personally.
I'm willing to give Foyth, as a young defender, the benefit of doubt. He will grow and become a better player.
Aurier on the other hand is already at the age where he should have ironed those mistakes out of his game. So I agree with you on Aurier
Even if you somehow raised £250m to buy five first-team ready players, odds are half wouldn't work out, half would take time to adapt, and none would benefit from having to come in simultaneously with no existing defence. Rome wasn't and can't be built in a day. We need a RB and a DM in my books with Aurier and Wanyama out.
We've had them ruled out when we've scored them.what about a goal that absolutely should never have been ruled out for offside?
What about a freakish own goal?
Lets be honest, that's why we've only got 1 point and not 3.
Ok I will give myself a slapI don't think Foyth, a young player with plenty of potential, and Dier, who's shown his quality but struggled with illness, deserve that level of disrespect. Both either have been or could be good players for us, unlike Aurier who has performed poorly and been a questionable fit for our ethos from day one.
It was the same under Poch last season though. We regularly went a goal behind and the manager had to change things to turn things around. A time comes when we have to realise that it’s not the manager but the players.
U mean the offside one? What about their dodgy offside goal? We were poor and didn’t deserve to win the game. If we weren’t so shit at the back or up front then we ‘may’ have won the game but until you actually out score the opposition and win the game what may and may not have happened is irrelevant.
I think Mourinho chose the right personnel but the wrong formation initially. He switched it up and we prob would have won if not for the own goal. The last 35 minutes was the most controlled and pressurized football we’ve played since he took over.
I’m glass half full today.
That's the question, I'm not particularly keen on any of them. Was very good 2nd half.
Who would you play with him? Sissoko?
That sort of comment isn't welcome in here Shelfy.Great performance second half really should have won it
