Get Aurier and Foyth out please. Awful players. We need a decent left and right back desperately.
To you and everyone else who has posted similar views:Agreed we need more defensive players in the next window, if possible...
so basically your saying , where upstream without a paddle. To you and everyone else who has posted similar views:
We may or may not need "more defensive players", although that's a rather ambiguous phrase . But it's highly unlikely we will be getting them in January. Mourinho has repeatedly insisted that what he needs is not more players, it is time to work properly with the players he already has. He may be lying, but I doubt it.
Once he has had time to work with the defence, he can see whether the problems are organisational and mental or are ineradicable without new personnel. Having insisted loudly and repeatedly that he is happy with the squad, it's hard to see him turning up in Levy's office next week with a list of three ready-to-go £50m defenders we should be signing in January.
If he hasn't been able to sort out the problems by May, then we can expect some defensively-minded players to arrive next summer. And some to leave. All the people who are demanding that we sign mature, top-class defenders in January are just setting themselves up for disappointment - even if such players were available in January, which they usually aren't.
Foyth was actually played well

he has got to go !
The paddle arrives in June.so basically your saying , where upstream without a paddle.
I'm predisposed to agree with you, but Foyth is making it difficult. His problems are not about his technique, which is formidable, nor about his physique, which is maturing. They're about his decision-making and mentality. He's been at Tottenham for more than two years. He's still making exactly the same kind and number and severity of bad decisions as he was when he arrived.anyone who thinks Foyth is a bad player is so way off the mark. Inexperienced, young, still to learn yes but he is actually a very good footballer. Like manySouth Americans he wants the ball and wants to do something with it. What he needs to learn is when and where. But he is a player I think with Sanchez could be the heart of our defence for many years ... as well as for Argentina where he is a regular already.

I also suspect his mistakes are the product of a kind of obstinacy that doesn't bode well for his development. He often tries to dribble his way out of situations that call for a basic clearance. It's OK to try that, but he won't admit he was wrong in the moment and just fucking hoof the thing. He insists on dribbling until he proves his point to himself or loses the ball. And he does it in every part of the pitch, apparently unable to anticipate the consequence of failure. Which is often a goal.
Yes, Juan, you have great technique. We can see that. Now please just bloody clear the ball.
I don't see any of those problems in Sanchez. He makes mistakes, but they don't form repetitive patterns. He learns.

Just to let you know i think your idea of selling Foyth is a shit one.
