What about the rumours of a swap deal with Real Madrid? Eriksen to Real and Bale to Spurs? Yes, I know it is The Sun and other unserious and gossip infiltrated papers reporting it. But, still it might be true? Guess Sky and BBC etc won`t report something like it before it is 98% sure..? Spurs is by the way Sky bets favourite when it comes to Bales next club in January with 9/4 in odds. Real Madrid is their favourite when it comes to Eriksens next club in January with 3/1 in odds. Neither of them changing club in January is not an option here, but it is off course likely that they both stay where they are until next summer. What is Real Madrid gonna do with Eriksen now? But I really hope this rumour is true. I do.

If Eriksen wants out which looks like the case then if Bale for Eriksen is possible then I would swap them in a heartbeat. I don’t care if Bale has lost a yard of pace... he’s an outstanding player who Real have treated horrendously.

Don't see us getting anything for him and fully expecting news he has signed a pre-contract with a team abroad in January. Think he'll fancy going to one of the other big Euro leagues and don't think it'll be only for footballing reasons. Not convinced he'll move to another team in the prem unless someone offers him a financial package that blows everything else out the water.

I would be amazed if left in January, he can start speaking to clubs abroad shortly and will be aware of the deals on offer for the summer. No chance he walks away from that now for less money.

Being honest, if he continues to perform as he has recently I'd rather keep him around than receive a tiny amount due to contract length anyway.

The decline started with Demebles injuries / eventual departure and accelerated with Eriksens loss of form, the Winks/Sissoko combo and our full backs generally being woeful

Some might even say it started to decline when we sold Walker

Eriksen has been a part of the issue but cant say it was all rosy before that

This 100 percent. The critical summer was after Leicester won the league.

There were some reports that Real were offering Isco to Chelsea to free up space for Eriksen.

Would do a swap for Isco

I reckon he will ends up at PSG for the proposed 13 million euros reported in the summer. Another five months of him
Producing occasional moments of quality seems like the best of a bad situation.

But isn't his contract up in the summer?

Probably not. Man U it is then!

Which is a bit shit because he’s 27 and should be entering his peak years
Yep, and you watch him go be a key part of Man Utd's resurgence, feeding the likes of Rashford. Especially after Poch goes there in the summer.

Apologies - should have clarified - apparently he has been offered a nice big sign on and 13
Mil a year by PSG in the summer. This move would make sense to me as I don’t think Bayern would sign him, Real don’t need him and Barca don’t need him and he has already turned Utd down twice.
