Yes. Sell now and get some funds or lose for free in the summer.Would everyone be delighted to see him leave if we don't replace him?
He isn't offering much on the pitch anyway.

Alan Shearer is more reliableNicola Schira is a fraud.
Given the amount of injuries we have it is pretty essential we replace him. The damage losing Dembele did to us and not replacing him was plain for all to see. He's been pretty crap for a while now but still having the body to bring on makes a big difference. At present, yes.
Lo Celso, Ndombele and Gedson can fill his boots. Alli gets to play as a 10 too.
Ideally we would replace him but I could live without til the summer.
Maybe, if we don't replace him, Jose will start using Skipp more and pushing someone else forward, like Lo Celso or even young Gedson.Given the amount of injuries we have it is pretty essential we replace him. That’s a different argument though isn’t itWho currently in the team is performing to the same level they were 3 years ago?
Personally I think he’ll do well wherever he goes because he has the talent - it’s the application that has gradually died offWe didnt create without Eriksen. When he was left out as an experiment then brought on it usually changed a game. But, he had a proper cm and effective wingbacks. Not anymore. So of course his performances are going to be worse if he cant do what he does best.
None of us are qualified to know if he has a lack of commitment? I'm terms of playing that is. Certainly not if it has rubbed off. I'd agree he has been below par, maybe a bit is mental. But overall he isn't working with a team that is clicking or has the ability it had a season ago.
Time will tell. Money is on him doing really well in a cohesive side.
I don‘t begrudge him and his family wanting to go and live abroad and experience a different culture, but I do begrudge the way he’s gone about thIngs.
Compare this to how both Modric and Bale behaved when their moves were on the cards.
I think Gedson replaces the injured Sissoko. Lo Celso looks to be an Alli/Son or Lucas replacement and I don't think he's gonna use winks for whatever reason. We will be short a creative attacking midfielder in the group if he goes. He might not have been playing well or consistently but Mourinho has still used him. Hopefully we can show some ambition and replace him with someone decent.Maybe, if we don't replace him, Jose will start using Skipp more and pushing someone else forward, like Lo Celso or even young Gedson.
It would definitely leave a bit of a hole (he's been such and important player for us) but I think we could manage if we don't replace him til summer.
IMHO the Bale stuff was all for the media and to make Levy look better. We clearly had agreed to sell him early in the summer and it was about signing up the replacements to soften the blow.I don‘t begrudge him and his family wanting to go and live abroad and experience a different culture, but I do begrudge the way he’s gone about thIngs.

I disagree on Lo Celso, I think he's better centrally than out wide like Son or Lucas.I think Gedson replaces the injured Sissoko. I agree but that's where he has been using him so far more often than not. He's best in the 3 of the 4-2-3-1 and wasted deeper than that.I disagree on Lo Celso, I think he's better centrally than out wide like Son or Lucas.
He doesn't quite have the explosive pace of those two but is better in tighter situations.

This is very true thoughts echoed in a interview I saw with gus poyet . He said exactly the same thing, also adding that he could eventually play behind the main striker. Good in tight situations plenty of work rate with a explosive left foot.I disagree on Lo Celso, I think he's better centrally than out wide like Son or Lucas.

He is yoko ono to meShame it's ending a bit acrimoniously for Eriksen but if we get around £15m for him, that's not bad considering he cost us £11m and only has 6 months left on his contract. Also, I think people underestimate how important he was for us due to his 12 month long sulk. His stats with us (all comps) are:
304 games 69 goals 90 assists
Our most successful "Beatle."
