Then clarify that point like I would
I should actually say 'the chap who claims to be with ESPN' as some of his tweets look a bit suspect.

Yes I agree but why would he call you a twat? Totally unprovoked.

The last 2 pages of this thread. Lets just delete and start over, shall we? Between complaints over ratings on an internet forum and an obvious troll account, SC has lost its fragile mind on them.

Lol. I couldn’t understand if you are calling someone a derogatory name, does it need questioning?
Not that. I just wanna read about people's lost dreams of us getting Bruno Fernandes.

You can tell SC has lost the plot when Hank is the voice of reason.

No offence, Hank(y)

Why do you think the ship has sailed? He reportedly was ready to choose us over Utd in the summer so I don't see why his thoughts on that would change... Maybe even more so in our favour with Mourinho in. Just depends if we pay what Sporting want or at least match Utd imo (who knows the chances of that)

And for where would he play... Competition! For too long a lot of our players have had none at all and look what that's done to their performances the past year.

Because he's going to United. It's pretty obvious.

So so true yet people can’t see it
The thing is people are impatient. They want an instant fix, and Lo Celso hasn't been that yet. The thing is it is very unlikely that Fernandes would be an immediate hit either. In part because he doesn't even play in the same style. His stats are amazing and I think he is a very good player though.

On another note most posters were not all that excited about him in the summer at all. And I think a lot of posters thought, possibly rightly, that we were using him as a bargaining chip for the Lo Celso negotiations. But the truth is while getting another AM would be useful in providing another option this is not our current problem at all. Attacking wise we are fine, it is defensively where we are really suffering, and also a little bit in transition. We need a defensive midfielder, a fullback and possibly another CB. Alternatively we could try and see if we have those solutions within our squad. Also another CF would be useful, if only to provide another option.

What were we crying out for all these years? A backup #10 to push Eriksen who has always been incredibly inconsistent.

Players fighting for places is not a bad thing, contrary to beliefs of many Spurs fans.

Will love it if Bruno and Sporting just keep pricing United out but accept our lower bid just cause Bruno is set on us! Play like how Dybala did, if that was really true. ?
