Anyone actually seen a match in which he played? Please enlighten the rest of us cretins.

All I know is that he has pace and a two star weak foot, based on Fifa.

This is exactly how the signing of Sonny went.
Sky need to weigh in then it'll be exactly like the Sonny transfer. (they suggested the transfer wasn't close at all when Son was on a plane heading to us for a medical if memory serves)

For those saying “he’s not an Eriksen replacement”... if your opinion is centred on his base position of right midfield, stop talking.

It’s very obvious that Mourinho is moving this squad to 4-3-3 without an out-and-out CAM. Bergwijn is incredibly creative and his stats prove that.

Signing him kills two birds with one stone. It gives us more wide attacking players, which Mourinho complained about last week and it gives us that creative player that we’re going to lose with (prime) Eriksen.

It also gives Lo Celso more power to play in central midfield, something which signing Fernandes would’ve curtailed.

As long as he's at least twice as good as the last Dutch winger that Jose Mourinho signed from PSV Eindhoven, I'm okay with this deal if we can get it done cheaply.
