It's a wonder why they are still behind us then isn't it. What with our rubbish football and terrible season.

They are only 3 points behind and he arrived exactly 1 month later.
It's like people don't actually pay attention to the football, and just repeat the media and fan rhetoric like parrots.

Are you kidding me?? We are playing one of the shittiest football I can remember. Sitting back like a league 2 team regardless of the opposition. It's embarrassing.
Are YOU paying attention to the football?

Yeah it might help if you understood the context of that post.
Do keep up.

What has Mourinho earned?
Nothing at Spurs, came in with lots of promises shown nothing

Why do we tolerate him?
He is a smug mercenary who shows no respect for the club and what we have done over the last few years.

Why do people consider him a serial winner?
Yes he has won lots of trophies. Chelsea he outspent everyone. Inter it was after referee gate there were no other Serie A teams competing domestically and Real Madrid are Real Madrid. Then there is where his myth began Porto where he had one of the best players in the world Deco. So I get people’s argument here but it does not make up for the football that his teams play.

Blokes won more trophies than we have in our entire history. He's also only been here 4 months and has been battered by massive injuries. Tookmover a team that hadn't won away for nearly a year in the PL and one that had been averaging just over a point a game for two dozen games. Took us up to 1.6 points before we lost all striking options, give him a break

Not really no.

When?...when was I doing this?

All I've said is I think we have a greater chance of silverware under a manager who has won the fucking lot.
I don't remember promising anyone anything.
Please quote the posts where I've done this, as I think you've not got me mixed up with someone else?

No one does more damage than a zealot. Especially one who doesn't understand the meaning of "implicit".

And you are damaging Mourinho more than most on this site with your shit.

Give it a rest so calmer heads can try and undo the damage you've done.

What irks me the most is the excessive respect you have for someone who has no history at our club, who is very related to one of our biggest rivals. And in the process completely disrepect the previous manager that for some of us, gave us the best moments of our spurs life.

Yes, I disagree with everything you've said except the trophies of each one, which are facts. The rest are opinions, even though you are stating them as if they were facts.
What you said about the high press is pointless. They press, sometimes very high, sometimes in the middle, which is the same thing Poch did.
The team Poch recieved was a lot worse that what Jose recieved now. Soldado and Adebayor were shit. The dressing room was divided. Kaboul, Capoue, Chiriches, Towsend, Chadli, Paulinho, Stambouli.
Pochettinos first season was better that what we are seeing now. There was some sense of football and what we wanted to do. We beat chelsea and arsenal with authority, no like we beat City last time. Nothing like AVB.

Since Arnesen and Jol we had a lot of ups and downs. It's ridiculous to claim Pochettino's seasons were just because we were on an upwards trajectory. We weren't. Jol and Harry had good seasons, but there was a lot of shit in the middle. There's no trajectory

If Pochettino lost the dressing room, it doesn't feel any different now. A lot of players don't like what Mourinho is making them do. It's a matter of time until he publicly bullies a player.

I don't care what Poch does now, so we won't be talking again about that. Let's talk again at the end of this season and see if you still excessively demand respect for Mourinho.

"The rest are opinions, even though you are stating them as if they were facts"......... "A lot of players don't like what Mourinho is making them do"

Really?

I can't take you seriously.

You don't even agree that poch had a preseason?

You talk about Pochs problems with kaboul etc. What about the eriksen, Toby, Jan, Rose situation?

You simply reveal yourself as bias. A clear poch lover who wishes he was still here.

I give respect to Jose for his achievements in football. He's only just arrived.. Why should I have to respect only what he's done at our club? Ridiculous. I have fond memories of 2 excellent seasons from poch, but he's not on a pedistal way higher than Harry or venables of even David pleat. Who all produced lovely teams who played good football. But my highest respect Is for burkinshaw.

I'm sad that your "greatest moments of your spurs life" are barren years. mine are watching us lift the 84 eufa Cup soon after back to back fa Cup wins, and the 91 final.

End of discussion for me

Sorry but Poch's first season was NOT better than what we are seeing now. I'm getting a bit fed up with people sugar coating it to try and put Jose down by comparing. It was largely boring, directionless and full of uninspiring performances other than those two excellent ones you mentioned, it was really was hard to see where we were headed.

This isn't me bashing Poch. This is to show that coaches need time to really bed things in, and you may not feel it's happening for sometime.

I think Poch and Jose both walked into a bad situation, with a jaded squad that needs big adjustments. Poch needed to shift on the wasters and make room for the new blood. Jose needs to shift on the players who've nothing left to give and bring in players who can fit with his style.

....and until they were/are able to do this we will see/had seen a real lack of cohesion and consistency.

Why would I ignore you when I think you are damaging the very thing you claim to be supporting.

I want us to unite around our new manager. You are actively making that harder with your bullshit.

Try and get this through your fucking skull - YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHIT ON POCH ERA TO SUPPORT MOURINHO.

You get those caps, mate? Understand them?

It's quite odd that there are people attacking our current manager left, right and centre, yet you seem to have a hardon for me because you're ultra sensitive about criticism of Poch?

Priorities.

Try and get this through your fucking skull - NOT EVERYONE FEELS THE SAME WAY ABOUT THE POCH ERA AS YOU DO.

Caps is fun.
Now try to be less weird.

I dunno ,maybe it's just me but a little part of me would find it picture perfect if the only proper job in which Jose doesn't manage to win anything (he even got a couple of baubles with a so-so yanited set up) is Spurs. Such is our power! Muhahaha.

Fair enough.

Just on the spending, if you look at the players we brought in during the window (Gio was already here) both are early 20's. The players we have been linked to elsewhere are (Lille, English based players and so on) all early 20's. Only the defender at Napoli (his name escapes me) and Giroud are players of any great age. Point is, he'd be having to spend money on the youth, but not as much as the established types that everyone seems to trot out as his old M.O.

As far as the football goes, I still feel some are doing him a disservice when it comes to all the football we have played, because at times it's been very open and fluid. Does that mean I can't see people's opinions about how deep we dropped at the weekend? Nope, I can see it. It's not been like that all the time though. Same with the hoof ball comments and as for last night, I'm baffled as to what some where viewing last night in the opening half at least.

I'm hopeful, like I was with Poch. That didn't turn out bad, despite how some view my opinions on here. I'll plough on to the end of the season and see what comes in the summer.
You have changed man. Really changed!
