Oh dear. Prepare for disappointment lol.Now that I totally agree with and would hope that Levy isn’t stupid enough to hire Mourinho and not back him ?

I'm not convinced that is entirely accurate.
I don't think it's fair to blame the fans. Even the official statement announcing Mourinho highlighted his record of winning trophies everywhere. We were sold on the idea that he could get one past hurrah out of this squad for a couple of years. It's not clear that this is a failure - it may have been an impossible task. Certainly a poor decision from the board, and I can see the case for cutting our losses. You know what I don’t disagree with you. Poch should have been given more time, however he wasn’t and we are now in this position.
I’ve always hated teams like Chelsea, Watford, West Ham because they chop and change their managers at any given opportunity when it goes slightly wrong. I just hope we don’t turn into one of those teams.
I also hope our fans haven’t decided to be like theirs and demand success when it’s clear we haven’t got the squad to deliver it.
No dude, what I was speaking about was the highlighted bit (sorry to be quoting you again @Oh Teddy Teddy )Hang on, the post you quoted said that Mourinho is not blameless. That is absolutely right and anyone is free to make that claim.
He is being paid a lot of money to add value to our team. Results aren’t good at the moment and, even if there are many good reasons for this, Mourinho should take his share of responsibility. That much is uncontroversial surely? Unless you think results in 2020 would be significantly worse with a reasonable alternactive?
I’m not calling on him to be sacked. I’m really not. I’m just saying he’s not blameless, and this is not a team that’s being coached well. Considering what he’s being paid, it’s not good enough.
What's he supposed to do though? Magic ability into players who have seen their best days and others who are at best, average? I cant think of a manager who could get this sorry lot playing well. Not with all the injury problems, which I believe blame can be laid at the previous coaches door. Can anyone say there are any signs of progress at all 5 months into this not so noble experiment?
I honestly think we’ve got worse the longer he’s been here. While injuries haven’t helped, neither has the sit deep, ultra conservative style of play he seems to be trying to implement, which completely isolates the few attackers we have on the pitch.
The longer this continues without signs of life, the more legitimacy is given to the questions over whether Jose really is finished at this level, something many were asking before we even appointed him.

Yep. One of the reasons I was so happy at Mourinho being appointed was that he has proven that he can and will win something anywhere he goes if he's given the players to do so, and by appointing him Levy has put himself in a corner where he only has two choices: build a squad which your proven winner manager can win a trophy with [in which case, I'm happy: well done, Levy!]; or else don't build that squad and prove beyond all doubt that you're the bottleneck in our abject trophy haul since ENIC arrived. He has nowhere to hide now, and we will either pick up the trophy(ies) that we're all wishing for, or alternatively we won't and we will know exactly where the problem at Spurs lies.I said it at the time and I'll say it again now - Levy has created the rod for his own back when it comes to hiring Jose. Whether or not you believe Jose is the right man for the job and whether or not you believe he'll be his usual self though out his tenure here, the man wasn't brought in to build another like for like project like we got to see under Poch. If the belief that not giving Jose enough of the tools he needs to work with to turn this club/squad around then this summer is going to be what some fans have always wanted to see, while maybe at the detriment to the club itself, Levy under the microscope. If he is as bright a business man as many of you say he is, genuine or snide dig, then he'll need to show it this summer.
Infrastructure is there to see, time to start paying the piper otherwise ...
100% this. Are you genuinely telling me that our squad, even with injuries, isn't better than the likes of Southampton, Burnley, Norwich and Villa, all of whom have outplayed us to certain extents in the last few months?
Some people are making it sound like Mourinho is working with the worst squad in the league. It simply isn't the case.
