Keep the lad.

He may well bomb, but he's shown glimpses that there is a player in there.

Far to short timeframe to bring his ability to the fore thus far.

Will be so pissed off if we give up on him this early. Clearly he's struggled this season but there were plenty of times when he absolutely ran the show. Give him time and give him some competent midfielders to work with and then see what happens. If he's still struggling after next season (whenever that may be) then fair enough, get rid.
I think that if they ( Levy & Mourinho) can get a half decent return on their initial investment, he'll be gone. There a couple of things that will keep him here, that being no interest from other clubs, or transfer bids falling short of perceived valuation..

If we could get our money back in him I would let him go tbh. Big question marks about this fella’s attitude and commitment to the club

One example being the contrast between his and Steve Begwijn's reaction to scoring their 1st goal for Spurs .

One a laughing shrug...the other a supernova of joy !
When ndombele scored we were drawing 1-1 with villa with 15 to go, I can’t see him going on a 50meter dash tbh

One was making us go 1-0 up and the other was making us go 1-1 and wanted us to get back started to win the game.

Different players celebrate scoring in different ways Greaves used to almost play it down in a matter of fact sort of way and he was the best and most prolific . Ndombele most definitely has the skill and I would assume he would get himself fit . So for me all that's left is commitment and belly for the fight . Could you imagine him in the " battle of Stamford Bridge game " for me this is where I see a problem he is in my eyes showing no commitment to fight for the shirt or the team . So on that basis I would sell but only for cash and not in exchange for Barca cast offs .

if the team with the best midfield of all time want one of our midfield players then you probably shouldn't be on the fence with wanting to let him go

Barcelona have essentially had almost zero good signings in the last 5 years. It's a big part of why they are trying to get bartomeu out of the club.

Even apart from the game situation, I don't think the excuberancy of a goal celebration is the best way to judge a player. Give me Berbatov looking sulky while putting in class performances any day over Soldado going berserk when the ball somehow eventually bounces in off his arse.

I agree.

It's always great to watch someone play with genuine joy and passion but if a player's natural demeanour is less exuberent it doesn't mean they have a bad attitude.

I like the boy, but I don't he's happy or comfortable with us, so if we get offered 1 or 2 decent Barca players in his stead I think we should take them if it's what Jose wants.
This is the only sensible position. José is the manager: If Ndombele is what he wants, tell Barça to fuck off. If he'd rather have whatever they're offering, do that.

If he wants to stay, keep him at all costs. If he's given up, straight swap for Arthur. That simple, really. He's got all the ability in the world and is priceless to us IF he wants to be here.

This bloke ended up distorting our season. We paid a lot of money and fans justifiably had high expectations. However, fans don't actually pick the team the coach does. Poch and Jose have ended up copping a lot of criticism because especially early on...fans kept calling for NDombele's inclusion but the coaches knew he wasn't physically up to playing 90 minutes or two games in a row. In the event the fans didn't actually watch the player thru a game. One of our classic embellishments evolved, a la Sandro or Palacios. NDombele with his unusual running gait entralled the fans in the cameos he made. The opportunity to bring in the right swap players would appeal to me. I'm sad in that my original 'Sports car Hillman imp engine' quip remained quite true
