Yeah it is but part of the reason they turn up is to spoil our night/day. You get the fans in the build up, then you get their players wanting to frustrate our fans and of course their fans always make noise at our place. I just feel if we get our noses in front they'll lack the ability to 'get up for it.It will be like a training ground session but beyond that it's 50/50.
I coach an u19s team and the atmosphere is lacking, we played our rivals at their place and there was a bit of noise and they roundly thrashed us and were well up for it. Played them at our place where the atmosphere is quieter and they couldn't get up for it and barely threw a punch as we walked past them.
